Uglies/Hunger Games discussion

Do you agree with "teams"?? I mean, I just think that none of these two great series have (like in Twilight) teams! Team Gale/Peeta or Zane/David?? I JUST HATE WHEN PEOPLE ASK THIS!
For me there is only one team! TEAM KATNISS & TEAM TALLY
But still there shouldn't be comparisons between fantasy vampires and true futuristic sci-fi!
BTW (i just gotta say this) I LOVE EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER IN THESE BLOODY BOOKS!!! SO I DO NOT HAVE FAVORITES!

I agree. I don't do the team thing often if not at all. It irks me because why do teams...it only started cuz of Twilight. And not many people enjoy Twilight so why use something from it?

I agree. I mean it's fine to like certain characters better but teams are just annoying.

Teams are stupid. But it's okay to like/dislike certain characters

I think that if either series is going to be compared to another popular series it should be Harry Potter. Personally I don't like Harry Potter but I know that it is more like the Hunger Games than Twilight is!

Well I say they are different from each other, Harry Potter (I <3 it) is about witchcraft and it appeals to feeling and survival. Although the HG also talks about this it is much more scientific than actually fantastic. Twilight is just desperate love and a bad plot.

Exactly. I think they're different but if they're gonna get compared to a book then it should be Harry Potter not Twilight.
