Quest One. The Golden Scarab

Book Description

All is not well in Ancient Egypt and heroes are needed.

JJ Sterling is an average 12-year-old until one day he discovers the Museum is actually a gateway to history. JJ and his friends Linc and Rani are thrust back to Ancient Egypt on a quest to preserve history. Back to a time full of danger – where statues are alive!

An evil god, Seth, plans to overthrow his brother, Horus – King of the Gods, and to regain his powers. But first he needs to find and destroy the very thing that imprisons his powers – a magical amulet – the Golden Scarab.

Guided by Horus, the three heroes must find the amulet and deliver it to the safety of a distant Temple. All before Seth can find it himself. Pursued by Seth’s evil Uberdiles, the three must overcome deadly challenges and the perils within the dark caves of Seth’s lair. Failure would release Seth’s evil onto Egypt and allow him to pass through time into the modern world.

Finally climaxing in a desperate battle and a monumental challenge, this is a journey of discovery where heroes are born and good fights to overcome evil.

Alessandra (noriareads) | 2 comments Been trying to add put up the review on Amazon, but I can't do that until I have purchased a product, and I haven't purchased anything from Amazon for a while. Can't find the book on Smashwords either, so I can't put up the review there either. If you can, I would appreciate it if someone can put up a direct link to smashword so I can put up the review there as well.
But, all the same, here's my review here on Goodreads:

S.W. (swlothian) Thanks for wonderful review Alessandra I'm pleased that you enjoyed it.
The book is only currently on Amazon so you won't be able to post the review on Smashwords. I'm currently investigating listing on Smashwords.
Thanks again.
