This is if you have a story idea you are claiming, but want to flesh out, or have a story idea you are NOT claiming, but want to tell people.

Okay, so there is this dude, who sort of has the power to take away people's emotions, but he has no emotions himself. But, when the emotions that he takes (love, sadness, hate, anger, etc.) start to rub off on him, when he has never felt them himself, what will happen? -- I really like this idea, but what do you guys think?

Then, another one:

Okay, so this dude is the control. He doesn't belong to either world, really. He is just in both, similatiously. He is the only one without a whisper. He started to hear them when he was just a little boy, but then they became more defined. So, technically, he started out in the world that we know. What we don't know, is that we are living right to a world, that is a mirror image of the first, though the people are different. They have different personalities, and aren't aware of each other whatsoever. But he is the same in each. His day starts in both, and he lives two completely different lives at the same time. But when more people start showing up as controls, what will happen?-- I like this one too, but do you?

sounds cool. but the guy who can take emotions... why would he do with that? would he feel the emotions he takes, or just do it to irritate people? but why would he WANT to irritate them, because he doesn't have emotions...

He doesn't really WANT to. Its like a disease. When he touches a person, another emotion gets taken away. Someteims, when he hats someone, he will like deliberatlly touch them to be annoying. There is like a villain, but its REALLY confusing.

Does he control what emotion gets taken away?

I think that if he did, then it wouldn't be as interesting. Like he trips and crashes into a lovesick couple, he would fall in love with one of them, and one of them falls out of love... it makes it more interesting.

BUT if he stops toutching the person, do they get their emotions back?

No, they don't get their emotions back. They are gone forever.

cool. But does he keep them forever?

Well, he doesn't start to get them till a certain time, then they start rubbing off on him.

Hmm. So using my example from before, if he crashes into a couple, then one would suddenly stop being in love, but he would NOT be in love? for awile?

No; He has no emotions from the beginnning. If he crashed into one, he could take away love, or any other emotion. But in the beginning of the book, he won't start to get the emotions. and it doesn't mean he will love that person. Just that he has the ability TO love someone.

I think I'm getting this. But what if he never got the emotion of love, that would make it suspenseful, bc he sees it all around, but he never feels it

Frogg, that would be interesting . . . But just remember, that in the beginning he feels nothing. That'll be hard to write!

The character has a vvery cool power! It's like if u ever had love sickness and it never goes away, you want ot get rid of it! U just can't stand your emotions. Envy and Jealousy is one of the emotions I wish that character could take away from me! U know, like when you don't see any value in urselve and you just want what other have, but you know you can never have it. Its such a sick feeling, haveing to look at that persona nd see thtat they have something you want!

no kidding. Because if he doesn't feel anything, why would he do anything? because I don't feel happy on the computer, so why should i do it? he won't get pleasure of annoying the heck out of people, so he wouldn't. He wouldn't get lonely, so he wouldn't try and make friends...

No, he doens't get payed to do it, because he doesn't care. he has no emotion, or want, for anytihng.

So Seth, its like he doesn't have any ability to love at all, int he begining but when he takes the emotions from people(like the same emotions over and over) he will be able to have that emotion.

It's more complicated than that; He has no ability to feel ANY emotion, not just love. But then, the villain of the story (the person who gave him the power/disease) makes it so he gets the emotion that he takes away, he get's flooded with millions of emotions.

No, They were saying if he could take the emotion of his chooseing, the story would be boring. But I thought it would be cool, because he could have a living just by doing what(the poer) he was given with

*sigh* My writing is ok, but I don't have ideas. That's why I need to put them online, or else I get uninspired in the middle and there is nothing to keep me going. So I make myself update my fanfictions once a week. But I was on a roll yesterday, and churned out 4000 more words of Wasted Wishes.

I post all the writing I don't like of mine on goodreads when I'm 'cleaning out' my Microsoft or Flashdrive. So those are the ones that I'm either A)Never gonna finish, B) Will finish in about 5 years or C)Thinking about finishing/realling starting but my flashdrive is too over-loaded for it(mines only around 2 gigs..) Or they're really old pieces of writing that make me laff..I've been looking for this one that I did on Respecting Adults, I lurverd it but I think I let my teacher keep it..
btw, to the first one of Seth's idea: What does he do w/ the emotions b4 he starts to feel them? Do they just float off into the wind or something? You probly answered that sumwhere in the other comments but I'm too lazzi to read them.

I don't know. Do you have any plot ideas? (For one chapter stories or something. Then we can either vote on the best one or just appriciate their differences.)

alright, heres another.

I just started writing this one. Its about our world today and everything starts to freeze in time and space, first evert=ything non-living then all the kids, then all the older people. Then person by person. then there are a group of people trying to survive in this strange new way. but is it possible to escape the freeze?

ok... so, like, I am sitting at my computer and suddenly I can't move but my body is there? My parents read all my e-mails and suddenly they can't move either? That's kind of cool. How could you stop it, though?

That sounds really good, seriously. But how do you stop it?? How do they run from it?
