Lisarenee | 9 comments I have always been fascinated by archaeology. I can still remember when I was really young my mom taking my sister and I to (I believe it was) the Field Museum in downtown Chicago to see the King Tut exhibit when it first came. My secret wish was that I could have been one of those people digging up secrets to the past, but alas I didn't pursue a career in Archaeology. So I'm curious, do you have a similar love or like of archaeology or was the Maya end of world enough to inspire this story?

Lisarenee | 9 comments Is this the first book in a series? The way you ended the book made me think it would. If it is any series name?

New World Archaeology has always been a favorite--probably because I was raised in the west and the archaeology was literally under my feet. Later my interested expanded to in just about everything, everywhere.

No new series in mind. My publisher really prefers singles, but I keep going off-path without really meaning to. Guess I love series. :)

Lisarenee | 9 comments I think if I was an author I'd leave things open ended for a series too.

It gives me a lot of room to get and pursue a wild thought. ;)
