Partners in Reaping discussion

((A class room.))

Des entered the room slowly, taking it in.

Nerezza followed closely behind. The room was large and plain with many desks. A few other students were already there.

"What are we gonna learn about?" Des whispered softly to him before grabbing a seat in the back left corner.

"Fighting. Using our powers." Nerezza said softly, sitting next to her.

"Oh," she said with a little nod, looking around at the few other students that were here too.

Nerezza watched her, unblinkingly, a small smile on his face.

Ms. Rane opened the door to the class room. She walked to the desk at the front of the room and looked at the class before placing the books in her arms down on the desk. "Is there any more of you?" She asked bluntly. A girl with short red hair stood up. "There's one more group coming." Rane sighed, sitting down on the chair, waiting.

Des studied the teacher intently, her heading turning slightly to fully use her good eye.

Nerezza sighed and looked at the teacher. He frowned, looking back at his partner out of the corner of her eye.

After a minute or so of this, Des turned her head back so it was normal.

After a moment two other students ran into the class room. They started to run for their seats, but Rane appeared behind them, pulling them by their collars. "You can pull up two chairs and sit up in the front." She said. The students nervously nodded and did as they were told. Rane walked up to the desk and examined the students. She raised her hand and pointed at Des and Nerezza. "Come to the front. We'll start with you."

Des glanced at Nerezza before standing. What does she mean start with us? she wondered as they walked to the front.

Nerezza followed after Des. "Today we will speak of the 'bond' between partners. It is a very close bond. Some say closer than lovers." Rane said watching the two. "To make a bond you will need to touch lips. In some dimensions this is a way to show a form of affection. But rather or not it is necessary. You two would go first." She said nodding at Des and Nerezza.

We've already kissed... Des thought to herself. Oh well, doing it again couldn't hurt. She turned toward Nerezza, looking into his light eyes, a faint smile on her lips.

Nerezza was blushing slightly, looking at Des sheepishly. He moved closer and pressed his lips to hers.

Des kissed back gently, thinking of how awkward this was considering they were infront on a class.

Nerezza pulled away after a moment. "Sorry." He whispered. "Very good. Return to your seats."

Des laughed quietly before scurrying back to her seat.

Nerezza ran after Des. He sat down, his cheeks slightly red as he avoided everyone's eyes. "Alright, every take turns." Rane said. Nerezza glanced over at Des. "Are you okay?" He asked.

Des glnced up at him, "Yeah. Why?" she asked curiously. In the front the next pair of partners were about to kiss.

"N-nevermind." Nerezza said looking at his desk.

Now Des was even more curious. "Come on, you obviously asked for a reason," she said with a light smile.

Nerezza put his hand over his mouth slightly. "I don't mind you." He said in a whisper.

Des smiled at him. She put her hand over her mouth just like he had before whispering back, "I don't mind you either."

Nerezza blushed, looking away and at his hands.

"That's enough! Return to your seats!" Rane said, her arms crossed as she studied each of the students.

Des looked up at the teacher quietly. Her head was turned slightly to the side, but for the most part it looked normal.

((Sorry. Didn't get the email and totally forgot.))

"We'll now be going to the gym to practice fighting." Said Rane, as she walked over to the door and propped it open with her foot.

Nerezza sighed, glancing nervously over at Des as the other students started for the door.

((I'm sorry aswell for not replying in some time. I had my laptop taken away :o))

Des stood before gently grabbing Nerezzas arm and pulling him on her right side. "This should be interesting," she said before heading out the door.

((No problem. I totally understand.))

Nerezza went along willingly, glancing at Dark, Krad and Seara for a moment.
Rane gave Dark, Krad and Seara a look of distaste at their late appearance. "Well, come quickly or you'll be left here for the rest of class." She said bluntly.

Des smirked at Krads remark. She always liked to have a smartass around.

Rane stood at her full height, glaring at Krad. "You will not speak to your teacher that way."

Nerezza said nothing, watching Des quietly.

Des giggled, covering her mouth in an attempt to hide the sound.
