Madeleine | 14 comments I believe the theme that runs through out my book is "Finding Yourself." Tensy Farlow doesn't really know why or how she was abandoned and she is like on a quest to find her true identity.

I don't really know how Tensy Farlow and I could be similar since she lives in this strange, eerie world. The only way I can connected with her is to say that I still need to find parts of myself.

I have learnt that no matter how bad things are, It has to get worse before it gets better. I learnt this because Tensy has hatted her life every since she was little. After staying with Cecil and Vanity Wollan-Tweed she was brought back to the House for Mislaid Children. At this staged of her life it seemed at its worse. After a life of struggle she finally gets a real family.

I would recommend this book it is very different to other books I have read (In a good way though) it is very descriptive and lets you visualise the book very clearly. The book is very captivating and I couldn't put it down!
