I'm a sixth-grade teacher in a small school in rural SW Missouri. I'm also a married, mother of three who doesn't consider herself as boring as she sounds in this brief profile.
Sixth grade sounds anything but boring! I bet you have tons of stories. Sometimes my college freshmen act like sixth graders!
Oh, I'd believe that. I sometimes think about moving into higher education, but then I figure that you probably have most of the same frustrations that we do. I mean, twelve-year-old kids are supposed to behave badly, right!?! lol

I'm Chris Profeta, and I invited everyone here to follow my blog tour in support of my book "Life in Pieces," and to allow people a chance to comment on the guest posts and interviews that will be published over the next few weeks. This group is a chance to continue the conversation that gets started at the various blogs. I'll be posting the links here, but you can get the full list of dates at my website, www.christopherprofeta.webs.com.
I teach writing at the college level, and "Life in Pieces" is my first novel. I also have a short story and poetry collection called "Skyful of Love." I currently live in Clawson, MI with my wife and two daughters.
OK, now tell us a little about you...
