Blog Tour in Pieces Q and A discussion

Thanks to everyone for joining this group. I'm thrilled that so many people were interested. I just thought that since the book tour is going to start in 2 days, it might be a good idea to have everyone introduce themselves to kind of break the ice a bit. I'll start...

I'm Chris Profeta, and I invited everyone here to follow my blog tour in support of my book "Life in Pieces," and to allow people a chance to comment on the guest posts and interviews that will be published over the next few weeks. This group is a chance to continue the conversation that gets started at the various blogs. I teach writing at the college level, and "Life in Pieces" is my first novel. I also have a short story and poetry collection called "Skyful of Love." I currently live in Clawson, MI with my wife and two daughters.

OK, now tell us a little about you...

I'm a sixth-grade teacher in a small school in rural SW Missouri. I'm also a married, mother of three who doesn't consider herself as boring as she sounds in this brief profile.

Sixth grade sounds anything but boring! I bet you have tons of stories. Sometimes my college freshmen act like sixth graders!

Oh, I'd believe that. I sometimes think about moving into higher education, but then I figure that you probably have most of the same frustrations that we do. I mean, twelve-year-old kids are supposed to behave badly, right!?! lol
