i cant wait till it come out!!!! i can't decide wether to get it on kindle or proper book style or both!!!
Same!!! I'm gonna re-read Graceling soon. I had the same problem but I decided to get the actually book because I already had Graceling in paperback.
well i have two copies of both fire and gravelling so im tempted to do the same for bitterblue.....but i'm working on a student's budget so it may just come down to which one is cheaper!
Cool!!! Cheaper is always good when you can save money. I hope you buy the one that is right for you and that you can have two copies of Bitterblue also in the future ! Also, come back to discuss it with us. ^_^
will do! i don't know anyone else who has read them, so i will be discussing till my fingers ache! :D

omgomgomgomg its fucking awesome!!!! sorry for the language but you actually cannot comprehend how good it is so far!!!
Also, was this a long book or am I the only one who felt that way? It took my twice the normal time it would usually take me to finish a book.
i read it in a day...and i had a lecture that day, but it was AWESOME!!! if you haven't already guessed....i've read it
ok! SPOILERS:What are your thoughts on Giddon? Did you feel like there was something there between him and Bitterblue? Or am I projecting?
i think there was, and i really, really hope there was!!! i like the idea of them together for some reason, and i felt so sorry for him! poor man!! i wanted to go give him a hug....so i hugged the book, not quite the same and gave myself a paper cut!
I wonder if Cashore meant for us to even think they were a possibility. I felt they had way more chemistry than her and Saf. Saf just annoyed me to no end.And I love that Bitterblue just got cooler. I mean, she was pretty tough and awesome in Graceling but she really grew in to an awesome character.
Now I really hope that she keeps writing in this realm.
Same! I wanna know what happens next! although i can't believe Fire got old!!! i was like NO!! she can't be old!!
I know! I should have read the firs to again. I remember what happened in Graceling but Fire was much harder to recall. When she showed up I had to quickly do a wiki search to refresh my memory. But I'm glad that Fire was in it because I always thought her and Bitterblue had a lot in common.
i squealed when she turned up! i read fire a lot, and gravelling in fact. i think i have read them both at least 10 times and i've read both this year at least once so its always fresh in my mind, i also though fire and katsa would get along too
I will/am!!! ^_^ I'm not finish yet but is it just me or did Kristin Cashore decide to make a like half of the male characters gay? BoyXBoy for the win I guess!
This book was so good! I just finished it! I absolutely love this series! I'm excited to see if another book will be coming out...
there were only three...and i'd pretty much guessed two of them already, i was a wee bit surprised by the second though

Really? I didn't expect any of them at all.

NO MORE NEED TO HIDE THE SPOILERS FOR I HAVE FINISHED!!!
Lol!!! I agree Blue I think I need to do that too. Finished it today!!! It was really different then what I expected but I really liked it. I LOVE HOW WE GOT TO SEE FIRE AGAIN!!! She is married to Brigan and it's just so... AW!!! Sad that Saf left her though and didn't predict that his Grace would be controlling peoples dreams but it's a sweet thing.

i know, that was a really weird grace to have, but you might want to put spoilers in the title, just in case someone who hasn't finished comes onto this topic and starts reading... i'm kind of not bothered about Saf leaving, sorry, I just thought he was all kinds of bad for Bitterblue
Okay. Thanks for the advice! I feel bad because he was her first love and as queen she might have a really hard time finding someone who is royal and not a poopy head.
actually not, it kind of hinted to his age and it turns out he is like only 5-8 years older than her
Around 8 or 9 because they said he was a few years older than Katsa in Graceling and she was about 17 then. I just picture Bitterblue with someone a little younger than Giddon.
Yeah, Giddon said he was 27 and Bitterblue is 18. So it's only 9 years, which isn't so bad. Especially because Bitterblue is so mature. That is what bugged me about Saf. He was such a child.
exactly, I liked him as a character, kind of, but as any thing more than just Bitterblue's friend...
I guess I just view Giddon as always liking Katsa. I really loved how she got more in depth with Giddon's character in Bitterblue as well as other characters.
yeah, you have to admit though, he has mellowed out a lot since Graceling, I always saw him as a sort of Archer character but now he is more of a Brigan
I don't get the time to do that because I'm usually the one with my nose in a book. Lol! Do you think Ms. Cashore is making a fourth book in the Graceling Realm series?
*dives into conversation* I think she will! I was reading her blog and in a post she was saying this:
"But the fact remains that I'm stuck with the powers I gave him in Graceling, so the best I can do is work really hard to make him as real as I can whenever he appears, think hard about my future representations of him, and try to be more thoughtful about this issue with new characters."
about Po (re: Acknowledgements in Bitterblue)which lead her to say this:
"I wish I'd thought more carefully about race when I first created these worlds, been more explicit, thoughtful, and careful about creating characters of color. I intend to do so in future, and expect to create the opportunity for it with the next book I write in my fantasy world."
So not anounced or official or anything but I suspect we may have reason to be excited in coming months when she might anounce her intention :D
