O. MY. GOD. So, the ending. I CAN NOT WAIT FOR THE DARKNESS RISING GROUP TO MEET UP WITH THE DARKEST POWERS GROUP!!!!! How are Maya and Chloe gonna get along? Daniel and Derek? What do you guys think??

So wait, is Project Genesis from Kelley Armstrong's other YA series? And is that who they are gonna meet up with when they get on the ferry? I'm gonna have to read this other series aren't I?

Yeah, I mean you don't *have* too, but it would make it really exciting.:) The first one in the Darkest Powers is called The Summoning. It's not as good as these, but it's a cute story! And I think they need to find them, I don't think they are gonna meet up on the ferry, because they dont know where the others are. But you should deffs read The Darkest Powers!

Yeah I got The Summoning today. It does seem interesting.

I am also excited about the two meeting up :-)

i am sooo excite partcually because i loved chloe and derek and all of them and was so sad when there story ended and i am now soooo excited to meet up with them all again..i hope that they get along :)

OMG! I cannot wait for Maya and Daniel to meet up eith Chloe and Derek! Love Derek but how will they all get along together???

I feel like the worlds biggest ass for not realizing who Project Genesis were lol. Man, I must have been on something to not put the pieces together! This is so exciting! :D

I'm really interested to see how Armstrong's going to fit all that new character interaction in one book...That's a group of six characters from the first trilogy meeting a min. of three from the second. And that's not even counting the other characters from the second trilogy that'll have to show up if this trilogy's going to get resolved.

But yeah, it should be fun to see.

I think the first trilogy is much better than the second one, but this one is still good. But this makes me uber excited. Chloe and Derek are awesome. 8D

I can't even imagine what their meeting will be like and what will happen. This next book NEEDS to be longer. Way longer. I finished The Calling in a few hours, I want something that will last! XD

Kelley armstrong said so herself. I think it also mentions it on her website.

I just finished The Calling and I absolutely love love love the Darkest Powers series and I nnneeeeeedddd the 3rd Darkest Rising book to come out. I miss Derek and I really want to see him again. :)

Its going to be the best book ever because i loved the darkest powers so much and the characters from the darkest powers are coming back!!!! :D so yeah i am dead excited.

yeah i wonder if they are going to take the bad guys down or not because that would take time but they would also need time to find the group

Kelly Armstrong put up a few chapters about Derek and Chole after everything happened from Derek's point of view they were great. You can find them online and download it. I loved reading from his POV he was so cute and protective of Chole.

Yup, I read those. There wasn't much hinting on what will happen in the next book though other than some romance, and maybe a certain 2 new siblings getting along.

This should be very interesting and funny too! I loved (and still do) Darkest Powers especially Chloe and Derek (like who doesn't) and I can't wait to see them again. I can't wait for them to meet Maya & co but I can tell there will be some tension between the groups. Plus they have Lauren, (Chloe's aunt) she was with the Edison group with project Genesis so she has to know about project phoenix so she can help them with there powers as well.

I love when the author take characters from another story they made that i've read and moosh them together, kind of like the percy jckson series and the heroes of olympus
