Nikole Hahn (nikole_hahn) | 9 comments Over the Rainbow

by Nikki Hahn

Somewhere over the rainbow,

People smile, laughter reigns.

Somewhere over the rainbow,

People care, no one complains.

Somewhere over the rainbow,

Is Heaven and Christ, our King.

Somewhere over the rainbow,

Are places where angels sing.

Somewhere over the rainbow,

People stop thinking of self.

Somewhere over the rainbow,

Aren't dusty hearts on a bookshelf.

Somewhere, Somehow a violin,

Plays a sweet song of a place,

Without harsh judgment or sin,

Over the rainbow, Christ's embrace.

Margaret (LoveMyFrogs) | 5 comments The Color of Love

What is the Color Love?

Red- Hot and Fiery or Angry and Mean?
Blue- Comfortable and Warm or Depressed and Sad?
Yellow-Bright and Sunny or Mellow and Cautious?
Green- Alive and Growing or Molded and Forgotten?
Orange-Changing with the Seasons or Dying with the Autumn?
Purple-Sacred and Strong or Broken and Bruised?
Black- Endless as the Night or Hopeless and Empty?
White- Pure and Innocent or Blank as a piece of Paper.

What is the Color of Love?

As many colors as a box of crayons.
Some used only a few times,
while others use the whole box.
Some use them sparingly so that the points stay sharp,
others use them until they are used up.

What is the Color of Love?

Open a coloring book and see what you can create.
A masterpiece or scribble?
It's your choice
It's your book.

Dying Off

I quiver and tears keep

rolling straight down my face

I'm oblivious to morals

could it really be fate

Leaving me, dying off

in as quick as 1 season

Why must they keep

being burried in the front yard

In my bare palm I weep

I'm losing what was nearly

gone

I'm guessing it makes no sense, 'cause I just scrambled down a few words, but it's about my 4 pets that died in pretty much a row since the end of the summer.
Unedited, on the spot, pretty bad.

Emma | 99 comments Thanks... it's not as much sad as it is ironically strange.

Chandani (milkduds920) | 41 comments A figure
a beacon
an idol
supposedly

It was all to be idffernt
more stable, more kind
Selfishness was not part of the equation
or so I was told.

In his vengance he leaves us
hungry and deprived.
How i would like to fly!
Into the tomorrow where the sun may shine
How i would like to leave
this dark shadow into a brighter day
where there is no hate
A utopia or normalcy

Margaret (LoveMyFrogs) | 5 comments ALONE

I sit here all alone, no one beside me.
All of my friends have been fair weather at best.
When my job went, so did our ties.
So much for our friendship.

My one true friend died, and I didn't even know.
You lose so much when you lose contact.
Now I've lost her forever.
Never to go to, talk to or be comforted by her again.

My family are all around me, but I still feel alone.
I hear them laugh, fight and talk to each other.
I never hear what I long for.
I love you. I care. I have you in my thoughts.

There is no closeness, no caring, no comfort to be found.
What does it take to make a moment priceless?
Do I scream? Do I shout?
Does anyone hear me? Does anyone care?

Whatever it is, I can not do it.
Locked in this shell of a body.
I can't move, speak or signal.
I'm still here! I'm still alive!

Will anyone miss me when I'm gone?
Death will hold no surprises for me.
I'm already there.
All by myself ALONE.
