And since its one of the most popular series of all time I must throw this topic up for fan discussion. Enjoy.

Fantastic series. I regret the years I owned these books and never read them.

I love this series up until the final book. I'm on try #4 at reading it. It's rather slow and dull in places.

Love, love, love it and I regret that I'm at book 5ish? or 6ish... x) but I have intentions to get some summer reading done and this is as good a place as any to start.

Yes....I didn't read this series until last year because I had zero interest. Fortunately, my friend wouldn't let me refuse her copies. I fell in love with the books.

doesn't matter, most people here must have read it already and if they are like me then many times over and over......

I actually haven't read it yet because it is my tendency to avoid books that were hyped up. And then wizards and witches as protagonists isn't really my thing. I'll get around to it one day however.

Jonathan you HAVE to read it.. They're really the Best Books i've ever read and the are not groundless hyped up ! :) Try it!

Amazing novels. I love the degree of detail Rowling uses, and all of the books are wonderful stories.
