Watched 20 minutes of it, then realized it wasn't any good. They left too much out, changed too much, and pronounced too many names wrong. Plus, the special effects and acting were pretty terrible.

I also agree that the acting and special effects were just abominable. Plus another problem was, they tried to fit an entire season (which is probably like, 6+ hours) into a less-than-2-hour movie, and that meant cutting out way too much for any of it to make sense or have a decent flow.
Anyway, when I was watching it on Netflix the sound kept going off randomly (but it was just the voices that were disappearing and not the background music, which was odd), so my sisters and I just started randomly dubbing it––and that made it much more entertaining. ;) Hahaha.

Did anyone notice that the bending wasn't actual bending? They did little moves and then water would fly out of the river. That's magic, not bending. The moves should have correlated directly to the effects. the only scene that works like this is during the assault on the northern water tribe. the bending is pretty good there.
also, how does he expect to introduce Suki (not sure if i spelled it right) in the next movie? She is kind of a big deal.
I agree. The bending was pathetic. It didn't feel like it came from the bender the way it does in the show.
As far as Suki goes, my boyfriend and I wondered the same thing... lol She plays a HUMONGOUS role in the third season. Um... I'm sensing a major re-write. Either, introduce Suki in the next movie, or just have a completely different character take on her role. Either way, it's going to cause problems.
