Donna (donnaenden) | 6 comments I have recently heard that this book is now in stores. Has anyone read it? And is it as bad as the other books have been lately?

Natasha (enjoy07) | 1 comments I've read it not too long ago. It's not as great as the older stuff (as expected), but the ending actually left me in tears. I really enjoyed it.

The twist at the end was also not expected. Actually left me slightly shocked.

Donna (donnaenden) | 6 comments Well from what I have been reading from this author lately that sounds like maybe some things will be getting better. I guess I will have to read it (would most likley end up reading it anyway) and hopefully not be put off as much as Daughter of Darkness did to me.

Jen (jncahill) | 39 comments The preview was terrible. All of the descriptions were used by gemstone/metal names because the main character's name was Amber and her parents own a jewelry store. Okay, I see where it might seem like a neat idea but honestly, all the descriptions got on my nerves!

He had dark onyx eyes. She had platinum blonde hair. Her eyes sparkled like sapphires. Her skin glowed like gold, etc. etc. all through the preview. If the entire book is like this, I will throw it against the wall.

Ouch that does sound terrible. I can see the jewelry theme but come on to much of a good thing can make you sick...lol I will eventually read this book..but after Daughter of Darkness being as horrible as it was I have been put off of reading anything else by this ghostwriter for awhile.

Erin H I still have to get this book. I don't like how the author has a book called Daughter of Darkness and then Into the Darkness. At first I thought they were part of the same series :0! I have been slacking off with keeping up to date with the new books.

Brianna | 22 comments Wow, guess it's a good thing I've not read "Daughter of Darkness" from this thread. Lol. Sounds like it was pretty bad. I may read it...eventually.

I've had "Into the Darkness" for a while. I've started it several times, but always quit it for other books. I want to read the whole thing soon, since I hate not finishing a book, and it seems like it's at least semi-good, from all of your comments.

Erin H I finally read this book and as much as I enjoyed it-probably because I couldn't figure out Brayden-I didn't like how it seemed almost unfinished. I felt like the author rushed the ending and the epilogue was so short.

Arianna Vargas | 21 comments I hated this book. For me this was the book that jumped the shark for me. I could deal with vampires, I could handle possible witches in the woods- I draw the line at terrible ghost plots. I figured out the 'twist' after the first chapter. I was thinking-"No. That can't be it. There's no way this could be THAT predictable." So I kept reading to (hopefully) prove myself wrong. No such luck. This was the first time a VCA book actually made me angry. Normally, even in one of the more recent terrible Neiderman ones, I can find something to like about it. Not this one.
