Hex Hall Rp discussion

Hecate Hall or Hex hall as the student call it, is a reform school for mythical creatures. People are sent here by the Counsel because they have brought to much attention to themselves, harmed others with their abilities, used their powers for illegal purposes or can’t control their powers. The teachers at Hex Hall are cold, cruel and rude.

If you get yourself into an extreme amount of trouble and do something unforgivable the council will go through a process that strips you of your powers. Once you go through this process your abilities are blocked and you cannot access them you also with have purple tattoos over your body (some teachers at hex hall have gone through this process, they are usually the most spiteful ones).

All Uniforms MUST be worn during school hours. After hours,
the uniform is optional.


Activities Classes clothes may be a shirt, shorts, and a pair of sneakers
of the wearer's choice.

Hecate History

Hecate Hall was built in the 1600's when a need for housing young Prodigium rose.
Many groups against the use of magic and bent on the thought that all Prodigium were demons,
were slaughtering unsuspecting families. The High Council that resides in London bought a small
island in which they built Hecate Hall upon and put protection charms on. They also made it into
a floating island which meant that instead of staying in one place, it drifted. Students are
occasionally allowed to go to the nearest countries during breaks.

After the witch trials of the 1600's died down, Hecate Hall was soon abandoned. Magic was soon a
secret hidden from humans. Parents sent their children to schools closer to home or to human
schools, which found itself to not be such a good idea. Teen Prodigium that were sent to human
schools soon found themselves using their magic and creating havoc and letting their secrets be
known. This created a new use for Hecate Hall. Teenagers who could not control the use of their
magic in public were sent to Hecate to learn how to control them so that humans would not be
exposed to their secret.

In the 1900's the school allowed parents to freely send their children to Hecate and also allowed
the first vampire to enter their school and finding there to be no problem, allowed more to enter if
pleased. Some parents tried to transfer their students, but there was a rule at Hecate that
disallowed that. Once a student was enrolled, they were not permitted to be released until their
final year of their 18th birthday. This soon created a drop in the amount of students attending
Hecate.

In 2000, attacks on families had started to increase and the number of students applying for
Hecate once again returned to normal. Parents wanted their children protected and Hecate was
one of the safest places, but now numbers are increasing and Hecate is running out of room for
the students, even with the renovations that had been made.
