Would Sirius Black have died if he had treated Kreacher with kindness? I recall from the books that Dumbledore tells Harry that Kreacher had visited Bellatrix and Narcissa, giving them vital information about the Order. Do you think Sirius' death could have been prevented? Did he bring it upon himself?

I KNOW! WHY DID HE HAVE TO DIE!! I think it could have been prevented. if he hadnt taken Voldy moldys bait and tried CHECKING the MIRROR that SIRUIS GAVE HIM!!!! maybe he would have lived.

When Harry saw the blue eye reflected in the two-way mirror, he was serif Aberforth's eye. Harry mistook it for Dumbledore's eye, because the two brothers share similarities, but discovers the truth when he meets Aberforth in the Hog's Head during Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
...but i thought the mirror was for him and siruis? i am cunfuzzled
When Sirius died, Mundungus Fletcher went through his stuff, turning around to sell it. One of the things Dung discovered was Sirius' mirror, which he gave to Aberforth.
oh! i totally missed that part when i read the books!

no because Kreacher's attitude towards Sirius was already sour, he only really liked Sirius's mother. and Sirius was letting "Mudbloods and traitors" into the house. he has always hated Sirius.
if it's Kreacher's fault Sirius is dead, why would Harry keep him? i know he was left to Harry, and he knew too much, but i would've done something, anything to get rid of Kreacher! (sirius is my fav character. i still cry when he dies D:)

If you think about it if Harry just learned occumuely (sorry if I spelled it wrong) Voldemort wouldn't have gave him the image and Sirius would have lived. In some respects it's Harry's fault!!:(
