I read the rest of the serial in e-book. Oh, May 2011 Scholastic plan to re-publish the serial with little change in the story. Changes are needed just to make it up to date. That's all i know about animorphs.

I remember reading them when I was a kid and trying to collect them all. Never managed, and I never finished the series.
Now I'm definitely going to try get through them all - including the megamorphs, alternamorphs and other side books

You're right, it's hard to find fellow Animorphs fans. I think this series deserves more exposure and wider fanbase. Oh well.

I like them because they are much darker than I would've originally thought. It suprised me, actually, how the series portrays the loss of innocence in these kids, and how they have to make decisions, and the morals of the war they're fighting and that sort of stuff. I like it a lot.

I agree completely. They're definitely better than I thought.

I read the first one over 17 times. No joke.

In Indonesia, there was only 27 serial already published. And I read, each book, may be around 50 times, each.

Wow

I did. They made too many changes for my liking and the special effects look really wierd. xD

No you can see it now if you want. i just saw it a few days ago on youtube. ^^
I have read almost all of them. That was like 3 years ago, but reread my favorites on occasion. I never watched the TV show though.

Well, I always liked the ones written from Rachel and Jake's perspectives. I also particularly enjoyed the ones where the Eliminist was involved. I got really annoyed whenever David was mentioned, though.

I bought some in Swedish, and I loved them. Then I tried to find more of them but they were only published by a book club for kids and the Animorphs were the only books I was interested in, not the rest of what you would receive monthly, so I didn't join the book club and had to find them in second hand bookstores or flea markets and I found 10 so far and I liked them all. Over here they don't sell them in English either, at least I have not found them and when I tried to buy them through the internet, the shipping was double the price of the books :(
But things might have changed the last years so I will check it out again.
I own 1-40. I liked the first 10 but then it seemed to get repetitive. I ended up reading 1-52 but I didn't real like them after the first few. It got boring. :-/
