Hi, Victoria! The story, as I understand it, is that the Grigori were assigned by God to observe humans. They became a little too involved, however, and ended up sharing information with us for which we weren't ready -- and committing the ultimate no-no of mating with human women. I've stayed true to this idea in The Grigori Legacy. :)

Kayla, I started off with discussions with a good friend of mine who is well-versed in angel mythology...then, once I'd decided to go with my story idea, I did a lot of reading both on the Internet and at my local library (where I'm pretty sure I exhausted the supply of angel books!).

The Book of Enoch and the Apocrypha have infformation as well. I really enjoyed your treatise on the lasting relationships between the loyal and fallen angels, and the idea of soulmates with unbroken ties.

Yes, the Book of Enoch was cited in a number of references, Dariel. Not the Apocrypha, however...must check into that. Thank you! And I'm so glad you like the relationship between the angels and the Fallen. :)
