The Academy of Mystical Beings discussion

Lily appeared hanging on one of the branches of the tree upside down as she turned the page in her book. She closed the book before taking a brief look around and jumping to the front of the tree house.

She glared back at him not saying anything.

Lily shook her head, "Are you usually that annoying?"

"Can't you be quiet?" Lily glared at him

"So you can't just shut up?" She scowled at him

Lily growled back at him before she brushed herself off with a curse, "Maybe I should just leave this family. If that's what you want, fine!" She snapped

"This-- Him-- They are the last thing I want to see!" Lily glared at them before jumping down from the tree.

"Release me!" She snapped at the guy before pushing herself off his arms and landing onto the ground with a scowl.

"Ugh." Lily grimaced and edged away from the weird people. Probably this was not the best idea of all. Even if she wanted a family, she wouldn't have this one. They all wanted to murder her!

Lily paused before shrugging, "Doesn't matter. I've seen enough."

"No." She shook her head

"Sorry, but no." Lily glared at him

Lily shook her head and sat down on the ground with a huff, "Whatever."

Lily looked down on at her hands in which fire lit up small at first but it grew brighter in next few seconds. She looked up to people before making a fist dimming the fire.

"Good for you." Lily snapped circle building around her. She scowled as her fox ears appeared, "I dislike all of you. Maybe I should just go now." She stood and walked to the tree putting her hand on the trunk before a black hole appeared in it.

Lily growled, "The problem is that I thought that you could be my family, but I guess I was wrong. Let me leave."

"Yeah, right." She snorted, "Now if you please could open the door for me, I would be glad."

"Like I care what you want or need." She scoffed as she touched the tree again. After few seconds, door appeared instead of a black hole. Better and safer way.

"That you are in my way." Lily replied glaring at him, "Now, please take a step away and let me leave."

Lily glared at her before shaking her head, "He left and that's enough for me." She opened the door and looked into the endless tunnel. Grumbling, she closed the door and sighed.

"I don't need to hear a lecture. Even though I had no family, after seeing yours, I have no intention of having one." Lily replied watching her expression, "And there is no need to tell me how great that person is when you yourself don't believe it."

Lily frowned slightly before replying with a sigh, "People who care about each other, that will help one another in need and die for each other."

Feeling quilt rise in her stomach, she sighed heavily as she tried to deny that maybe she needed to give them a chance. After few minutes, she nodded, "Fine."

Lily stood up by herself and brushed herself off as she spoke, "Sleep would be good now."

Jacquline grinned and waved. "Hello up there!"

"Aunty Kari, is that you?" She called.

((I swear I need a timeline for all these folks.))

((Kari is older than she is. She calls all older ladies Aunty.))

She laughed delightedly and began to scramble up.

She hugged her back and then looked around. "Look at all the people."

"You hide from the shadows? Why?" Jacqueline asked.

"Who are all the people, Aunty?" She asked Kari.

"Our cousins. They look different from any I know. What are their names?"

"It's different when they are bigger."

"Which I'm sure I will see at some point."

"Not very long. I appeared just a little while ago."

"Why are you guys fighting? Why can't we just play?"

Jacqueline pouted. "Pwease don't fight."

"I don't know. If they don't stop fighting I'll turn them to stuffed animals though."

She shrugged. "It's what works."

Jacqueline sighed. "Why can't we play?"

"I don't know. I just don't want to stand around talking."

"Why don't we play hide the stuffed bear?" Jacqueline suggested. "I'll turn one of you into a bear and I'll hide you in the mansion so one of us has to find you. Whoever find the bear first gets to be the next bear. I'm no good at baseball, my legs are too short."

"We could go puddle jumping. That's fun."

Jackie clapped happily. "Let's go down and find some puddles."

Jacquline threw her a grin and slid down the ladder to the ground.
