My YA Obsession discussion

I love the Ugly Series I want them made into a movie featuring ME! lol jk but seriously a movie please! What do you think?

I liked the books. I think Tally is frustrating though.. but it makes her real. She has her flaws and I feel like she did things that a 16 year old would do. I really hated the last one though. Extras was just.. ugh. Have you read that one yet?

I have, I loved all of the books. Extras was okay, it was a little of the mark and it left me with more questions than anything else. But it was cool to see Tally's world from a different point of view. I really want a series of movies made, but I think people are going to think it is a copy cat of The Hunger Games, even though it came out before that series.

Yeah, like Vampire Diaries and Twilight. Haha. I haven't read The Uglies, but I really want to. They never have the first book at the library :(

I don't really count Extras as part of the Uglies Trilogy. It's definitely part of the world, but it's not part of the trilogy. It's post-Tally and such.

This is actually one of my favorite YA series in total. I love the word that's created. I love the social commentary Westerfeld is making. I like that Tally isn't necessarily like-able the whole time. I generally just really enjoyed the trilogy.

I live for these books, number three on my favorite list! Mortal Instruments (CoSL) and Infernal Devices beats it out
