Shasta smiled as she looked down in the pond at the humans below. She had made the pool show a room of scholars discussing the stories of olde. The ones that had made it down to the mortals and over time had been distorted.

Luna started to hum softly to herself. It was tuneless and meant absolutely nothing but Gold liked it. He nudged her softly with his big head, about the size of her torso, aned she laughed.

Shasta heard singing, and it was coming closer. She smiled, wanting to share this with others. "Hey you in there "she shouted into the forest

Luna tensed up at fist but tried to relax. She stepped out through the forest tentatively. She didn't want Gold to freak out, or to freak out anyone who saw him. "What do you want?" she asked.

"Come, listen to this story with me "she told her as she looked back at the pool. The historian was retelling the story of the banquet and dischord

"Sure, if you don't mind Gold watching to." she said, motioning Gold to come out of the woods.

Shasta smiled "what a cute puppy!" She exclaimed

Luna laughed, "Yeah he is." and Gold bobbed his head up and down in agreement.

Asuri smiled

Gold walked over to Asuri and licked her face, which made Luna burst out laughing.

Asuri smiled and wrapped her arms around gold. "I like him "

"Well, he likes you too." Luna smiled, then noticed the picture on the lake, "Hey, what's that?"

Asuri turned back "a historian is telling one of our stories "

"Which historian?" Luna asked.

She shrugged "does it matter? They are all wrong "

Luna laughed, "That's true. So why do you watch it if it's wrong?"

"You want me to watch with you?"

"Sure, I like company "she said as she scratched gold's ear. "You can change it if you want "

"How would I do that?" she asked, climbing on top of Gold's back to get a better view.

"Think about something you want to watch and just tell the pond "

"Okay...umm..." Luna thought, "The Civil War."

Luna watched silently, shaking her head at the stupidity of the fight.

"I don't understand humans. They have huge fights over such trivial things "

"Yeah, I mean what was so important about weather or not you could own people. There's an obvious answer." Luna's voice had an edge to it.

Asuri glanced at her "want to talk about it?" She asked picking up a personal issue

She shook her head, "No, it's fine really. Just bringing back old memories."

Gold sat down suddenly, causing Luna to fall off his back.

Asuri giggled when that happened

"It's not funny!" Luna said, but she was laughing too

Asuri smiled "you ok?"

"Yeah, Gold's just being funny." Luna shook her head while Gold looked like he was grinning.

Asuri grinned and pet gold

Asuri leaned back and looked over ar him "and what would a handsome God like you be doing spying on two goddesses " she teased

Luna snickered, "You know it's very dangerous to spy on Goddesses. You could get seriously hurt." she joked while Gold trotted towards Seth.

"Sure" she said as if her word could easily mean no just to mess with him

"You know, you're not very cute when you frown" she told him as she glanced at the pond. "Put something else on if you don't like this "

"I wonder if someone up here had something to do with that "she pondered. This guy was devout and knew the right tributes and ways of worshiping. Normally mortals weren't that good
