Yeah, but it doesnt have profiles on ALL the Gods.

『ᴡɪᴄᴋʟɪɴɢ ᴛʀᴀsʜ ● ɢᴏᴏᴅʙʏᴇ』 (wickling) But it doesnt say what a Dark-Hunter,Were-hunter, Dream-Hunter or Apollites are. Are they all part of the same world? Like the same book series or linked book series?

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments She did used to have different links to all sites about the Dream-hunters, Dark-hunters, Were-hunters and the like. And there are various panthenons that is would be rather hard to list all of them all the time.

As for terminology, Dark-hunters they are individuals that are wronged/betrayed in some way in their life. And their soul cries out for justice. Artemis hears that call and she barters that person's soul for one act of vengence which can be taken or not. In trade for them to become one of her warriors to help take out the Apollites.

Apollites are in turn Apollo's race he created that were supposed to be better than humans. Even had a queen that was so jealously loyal to him that when Apollo took on a mistress and had a son with her that he cared for more. Said queen went ape shit and sent out some of her people to kill the misteress and son and to make it look like wild animals did it. They succeed but being the God of curses and such. Apollo was furious and in turn cursed his own people to die when they hit 21 or they could turn daimon which they learn to be through other means which get revealed in the series later on. Also Apollites can drink each other's blood, have shorter pregnancies, grow up rather quickly, do marry and have children with humans and can still be out in the sun. But when they go daimon they can't be in the sun for fear of Apollo's wrath(Sun God and all that). Til yet another interesting development occurs in the series.

Dream-Hunters were once practical jokers that played a joke on Zesus on Olympus. Which you can also read about in the books. Zesus having no sense of humor got pissed at them and punished them and stripped their emotions from them. All have but a few have black hair and blue eyes. And they help heal the Dark-hunters in their sleep. Again a few does this for some of the dark-hunters. As some of the dark-hunters are just too damn crazy even for the emotionless to heal. But yea the dream-hunters are sleep Gods essentially and reside in dreams and outside most times. There are two sects of them too Skoti or the nightmare/ones that prey on dreams and the oneroi which are the police. There are three top police you can also read about in the books too. And some secrets to be learned about them in the story as well.

were-hunters are your were animal branch. Pretty much created by a king that fell for an apollite and didn't know about it. But she gave him sons before she died. And to save his sons he took some magic and some animal hearts and the like and merged them together so he could save his children in ancient times. Again the Gods or in this case the Fates weren't pleased and made it so that the brothers and their descending children would hate each other. Giving some human hearts and could turn into animals and those with animal hearts, be animals that could turn human and would constantly fight each other. Their headed up by Savitar on their council of "peace". And do to the whole queen being a apollite the were-hunters are distant cousins of apollites and rather not be involved in issues between apollites and dark-hunters. Kind of a conflict of interest ya know? And also were-hunters they essentially fight the bad guys on either side. Like strayi I believe are the out of their mind killers on the Katergeri side. Think someone that goes rabid that the Arcadians put down. And in general Katageri usually don't like or trust Arcadians do to their human hearts and manipulations. But it is possible for the rare few from each side to get together and mate and have children. Some secrets are revealed about that too in the books. And either Arcadians or Katageri can mate with humans. But only Arcadians can have children with humans. As I think it is the like to like in human genes for them to be able to successfully breed. But again there are couples and different situations where even this rule has been turned on it's ear in the books.

I think that about explains it all, anything else?

Dhfan4life | 10411 comments I'll add too that the dark-hunters can't go out in the sun either and have fangs and the like to be like the daimons they track and kill. They are also not particularly friendly with the apollites and aren't allowed to officially take them out til they go daimon. So mini correction on my initial dark-hunter comment.

Did you look at the characters on the dark-hunter page? As there are some Gods and other key characters of the world that have hair, eye color, body type, height mentioned too.

And also the were-hunters more times than not get a tribal marking on their palms when they have had sex with the person that will be their mate. And if that is the case the males can't have sex with any one else. But the females are still free to do so or even reject their mates. Were-hunters also have a life bond thing they can do. Where it would bind their life with their mates. Can see that protrayed in the books too with a few characters.

And another thing for the apollites, they have their own tradition of tattooing crimson tear drops on their arms. Out of respect for their dead.
