Nice I'd probably do Piper for girl in TLH cuz Annabeth isn't as awesome cuz she's so sad.

I think she's so smart and thoughtful but has her moments of weakness. I haven't figured out her fatal flaw yet. It might be vulnerability because it seems as if she was the one who got the most hurt on TLH

Jason is a natural leader, I don't think that's it.....Maybe loyalty. Percy's is friendship, so maybe for Jason loyalty?

I think I like Piper just a bit more because of how she was more confident in the end. Overall though, I thought they were both pretty similar, so its hard to decide.

I like puperbbetter because she just seems so much more like me.

My favorite part in Mark of Athena is when Leo and Hazel go to get the mirror from Narcissus. That chapter had me rolling on the floor laughing! :D

I have never read a scene that's made me laugh so much. I read that over and over again! I love Leo so much!

And the rest of the 7 reaction when they saw Leo omg i died right there. Team Leo, Hot stuff? I must agree, i do what i must.

I think what Nico was going through with Percy was VERY true to what many young teens are going through. Whatever your opinions about homosexuals, I think the point is Rick Riordan has ALWAYS been about reaching out to those young people who have felt disadvantaged or less (dyslexia being a demi god thing for example). So Nico being gay seems like a fair Rick Riordan move.
The thing that is loudest to me is that regardless of how "inappropriate" we thought the homosexuality....uhhhh it was EXTREMELY tame. Think about it. There was kissing all over the place! Piper and Jason under the stars, Annabeth and Percy before battle, Hazel and Frank kinda constantly, and even Leo and Calypso. When it came to the gay character, we sort of get his "happy ending" with Will Solace but even there it is only HINTED that MAYBE Will shares the same feelings. We as the reader never get a confirmation or even much of a show of affection. Something that is really hard to do since they really only came into contact with each other towards the end of the series but even so, speaking personally from my opinions, I would have liked to see that develop earlier and further.
The fact that it wasn't explored earlier or even showed more cemented evidence of the attraction at the end just shows that there are still some walls when it comes to homosexuals in young literature. Now, I'm not complaining! The fact that a gay character even appeared is huge! But yes I hope the day comes when such characters can be presented with their young counterparts and engage in the same embraces as them.

So my list really changed a lot. I still love Percy and Annabeth, don't get me wrong, but they annoyed me just the slightest bit. And so did Leo.

hey guys!! So like many of us, I am going through serious olympians withdrawal now that the series is over and I couldn't help writing a huge analysis of the ending to Blood of Olympus!!! Long story short, I think there were some serious clues that there might be a new series!!
Is it me just being hopeful or do we agree that something smells potential??

I don't think another series is a good idea for Riordan. It's kinda predictable now.
