The room is wide, a magical fire blazes.

Grace enters the common room with a big yawn. She settles on an empty couch and opens the book in her hands.

((We cant go in yet. we havent chosen houses))

((When is the sorting ceremony??))

((When maddie gets back.))

Matt walked in. "Ah! home sweet home!"

((Since this has had no comments recently, I'll make it recent. :P))

Alice walked into the common room, really wishing that she was the only person in there.

Matt waved to her. "Hi."

Alice jumped, then looked over at him. "Hi," she said slowly. "Who're you?"

"Matt, who are you?"

"I'm Alice," she said, picking up one of her books she brought with her.

"Good to meet you." he took out his wand and accioed his guitar to the room.

Alice's eyes widened when she saw Matt's guitar. "You play?" she asked, still staring at ti.

"A little. I'm not too good. Do you?"

Alice shook her head. "Not guitar," she said, still keeping her eyes on it. Finally, she moved them away. "Just drums."

"Cool" he said, noticing her discomfort he put it away. "well, see you around! I have class."

Alice groaned. "Crap. I think I do too," she said. "See ya around."
