He's blond (white-blond to be exact), and he's clever, smart, handsome, sarcastic, funny, awesome, the best torturer, the-best-antagonist-besides-Mortmain. :))

Maybe he was handsome when he was younger... but im not so sire about now... and he's jujst evil. Killing your own son? That's just cruel. Plus, he did dealings with demons and turned against the Nemphlin. GOD.

Not to mention he injected his child with demon poison and kept an angel prisoner. He also whipped Sebastian (I actually don't like Sebastian so that doesn't really count) and he killed Jace! And his falcon! (I cried in that scene). He also very nearly killed Luke and Luke is epic. Plus he turned against his entire family, the Clave bidding rules of loyalty, all of which he broke, oh, and sending his wife in a very long sleep which she must not have appreciated. I wonder if he has any of Mortmain's blood in him which would totally make sense. He also killed, like, alot of Shadowhunters, murdered quite a few mundanes and killed his wife's parents and so-called baby boy. Plus he manipulated other Shadowhunters into carrying out dark deeds (AKA Hodge!) and was probably the worst father ever, allowing his non-biological son to be raised living a lie which included watching Valentine "die."
Yeah, I'm not much of a fan of his work...

I totally agree... I think he shpuld be fighting with hte Nemphlin, not against them.. But they probably wouldnt want him because of all the bad he has done in the past. AND i aslo really hate sebastian and how he created a race of dark shadowhunters. I could write a whole list!!!!

Nothing changes my view of him. Come on, I don't like the Clave. Somemore, Malachi team up with Valentine. Never to trust them. And Aldertree and Imogen are just so useless...

Plus, Sebastian is just so handsome! He look just like Valentine. Clary shouldn't have spasmed and squirmed in Johnathan's(Sebastian's)arms. -.-

the dude is her brother. I find that revolting. If you like him, I will respect that, I just couldn't like him at all, I couldn't find anything I liked about him even.

He is in my opinion, but that's just what it is, my opinion. I don't support guys who hit on their sister. Unless it was Jace's feelings for Clary channeling through Sebastian, making him think that he likes Clary. Then I wouldn't find him gross.

Hmm...He saw how Jace looked at Clary? And he copied Jace? Okay, seriously weird.

Well I'd prefer that idea than the alternative...

My opinion on Valentine: He is a creepy, manipulative weirdo who believed in his own sense of justice (which was a distortion of the Shadowhunters' believe that Downworlders are distrustful and Demons are pure evil). He is, aside from Jonathan/Sebastian, my favorite antagonist! ^w^

I find Valentine and Sebastian really cool! They are so evil and non)human at some times that it can be funny assigned them have to interact with others. They are awesome villains, but of course I'm team Nephilim.

Mortmain is also awesome! :)

I hate all antagonists because they are so mean! Plus, the whole clary + sebastian thing totally freaked me out. Yeah, not a very good first impression, Seb!
