Pick-a-Shelf discussion

Hey, am just curious as to which of our members are bloggers and how you're finding it (blogging, that is).

My blog isn't a very well maintained one. I'm jealous of those blogs with very professional looks. But I also prefer to spend my time reading than maintaining my blog :p

ps: I've decided to change my nick once again to match the name I used on my blog :p

My blog recently got hacked (grrr) so you can only actually see it if you use firefox. If you try to use IE, you get swept away to Bing or a sweepstakes site. My hubby has to clean it up for me, because I am not tech savvy enough to handle it.

Mine is @okcruegirl and you may be sorry if you follow me as I tweet every day. Not as much as some, but still.

He he he, my tweets mostly have to do with giveaways I'm entering :p

I think your blog looks great. I am on Wordpress too, but my blog does not only deal with books. I found that you can do a lot with their themes. The last two weeks, I have not found any time to blog so my posts are behind... maybe tomorrow I will get a post up.

When it comes to book blogging though, I have found that doing some of the blog parties can be fun. I also have met (online) several great bloggers and so I love the social aspect of the blogging community.
My husband, Scott (also a Pick a Shelf member), has a blog too, but his is so much more professional than mine... since he is a web designer in real life.

How great is it to have your other half participating on GR too!?!? I can't see mine even finishing a book in a year! :p

I have a blog. It's a lot of work updating and then transferring the stuff over to Goodreads and Booklikes, but since most ARC distributors seem to prefer it if you have a personal reviewing blog I find it handy. :)

P.S. Your blog is so pretty, Tara. Wordpress has such great templates. Sometimes I wish I'd signed up with them instead of Blogger, but I'm too lazy to start over or maintain two. ;)

I had a blog on Blogger but decided to transition to Booklikes (it was too much like hard work maintaining both sites)
