Has everyone heard that My Sister's Keeper is supposed to be coming out this year staring Cameron Diaz? That would be a fabulous book to start with if you enjoy dramatic novels. It explores some controversial topics and is easily one of the best books I've ever read.
Of course, the other book to movie I'm anticipating is The Time Traveler's Wife. Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams (of The Notebook fame) star in this film adaptation. Can they do Henry and Clare justice? I'm really interested in how this movie will work. It has the potential to be very confusing for those who haven't read the book and very frustrating for those who have. It'll either be BRILLIANT or TERRIBLE!

Hi Emily, I didn't think I would like Twilight either and in fact I had to read half the book before I fell in love with the story. I read all four books within a week or so. I saw the movie after I'd put the book aside, then decided to give it another go.
I have both version of Pride and Prejudice as well and I love them. I am reading Sense and Sensibility.

Hi, I might do a Nicholas Sparks book to movie (as there are heaps to choose from) but I am also thinking of The Green Mile. I loved the movie and I have the book so that's a possibility.

I didn't like Twilight until I was about 2/3 of the way through the book but then went on to read the whole series and I loved it. I've also seen the movie a couple of times!

Stacy,
Marley and Me is sad, I cried in the book and the movie but both are also funny & moving so definitely a great one to do.

I've almost finished Just Like Heaven by Marc Levy and it is so different to the movie, which I've seen but will watch again when I'm finished. The details that have been changed are many!

Oh my gosh I didn't even know that was a book! I may add that to my list too ...

I'm struggling through Midwives and should have it finished up this weekend!
