KEEP HOLDING ON focuses on the consequences of bullying. The book was inspired by my own experiences being bullied in junior high and high school. My goal in writing the book was to reach out to teens and help them feel less alone. Hopefully, readers will be inspired to stay strong and never give up.

I know how hard it is to speak up against bullying, either as a target or a witness. Let's share some anecdotes and motivational messages that will encourage both bullied teens and witnesses to take a stand against bullying.

I was privileged to receive and ARC from another site! I loved Keep Holding On. It is such a timely story since I see bullying happen almost every day in the middle school where I teach. I'm thinking of using the book as a read aloud next year. You will love it!!

Emily | 3 comments My own 8 yr. old son experienced being bullied in our neighborhood. I told him that he really had to make a choice...do I want to continue to play with these kids and put up with their remarks or do I choose to quit playing with them altogether? A school counselor also told my son this, and he finally decided that it was not worth being ridiculed just to call them "friends." Thankfully, God blessed us with a Christian friend and family in our neighborhood. Never give up!!! It will get better. :)

I'm proud of your son. It's not easy to break away from kids you want so badly to be friends with. Fortunately, he had both you and the counselor to guide him. I wish every kid had caring adults in their life!
