Jess walked into the library, searching for a novel on martial arts. Of course, she was already a experienced and trained fighter, and wouldn't let anyone say otherwise, but some brushing up couldn't hurt. Plus, she wanted to know how the new person she met, Yori, a strange but competitive fellow, was so strong and knew maybe more about battle than her. That irked her. So she was here to learn more about it, but was momentarily distracted when she saw a single person in the somewhat empty library. Who was he? Whoever he was, she would stand her ground. She never trusted people she only just met -- or any person in particular, which was unfortunately usually the case for her.

He didn't look up when someone walked in, if he acknowledged their existence, they would only end up talking. He didn't like talking, that's why he spent almost all of his time reading.

She walked down the lane that the person was in. Not really purposely, just the book she was scanning the shelves for happened to be there. She reached up and grabbed the book, and flipped it open and sighed softly, biting her lip -- a bad habit -- while she read it.

He turned slowly to look at her, she having grabbed the book he wanted. "Excuse me." He said purposely, leaning back just slightly do his shirt made him look semi muscular and lean. He wasn't trying to, he sometimes wished he was fatter, actually.

She glanced up at him and raised her eyebrow slightly. What did this guy want? He was definitely handsome but she knew better than to let appearances fool her. "Can I help you?" she asked, in a tone that sounded like helping him was the last thing she wanted to do.

"That book. I was obviously searching for it." He rose an eyebrow, face a complete mask of calm. His calmness sometimes even infuriated people, which was the best part. His mouth showed neither anger nor joy, it was only in a slightly irritated line. "Would you mind?"

"Actually, I would mind. I got it first, so it's mine. Temporarily." She smirked slightly and moved a little away, and continued to read it, not bothered by it.

He gritted his teeth. "No, it's mine." He snatched it out of her hands before quickly stalking away with a few snickers.

She glared at him and steadily walked up to him, grabbing his arm and forcing him to turn around. "Don't do that again," she said, irritated and taking the book back.

He took her arm, pulling her back so she was in very close circumferences with him. He leaned down, his breath hot on her skin. "Give me the book." He growled, a few pieces of his hair falling into his eyes but not hiding the carefully controlled anger.

She hesitated slightly, using all her willpower not to go into attack mode with someone this close. She wasn't used to close contact. She frowned, eyes narrowing. "I had it first. Find another one." She pulled her arm away from his grasp and moved away.

((Lol they are kind of similar with bad tempers, aren't they? This'll be fun haha :D)

"But I was specifically looking for it. There's not another one like it. I need that book." He growled, rolling his shoulders forward so he looked more menacing. He bared his fanged teeth.

She raised an eyebrow. "Hm. Those are cute," she said, smirking before moving a few more steps away. "You really want this? Mind me asking what for?"

"Why do you think? To learn about martial arts. I'm already quite good at fighting but I depend slightly on instincts." He took a step towards her.c ready to take the book. "Give it to me." He growled threateningly.

"Yeah? Make me." She turned and to walk away, not letting her temper get the best of her and mentally picturing what she wanted to do right now as she opened the book and casually thumbed through it.

His growl became more feral and animalistic as he stalked towards her. He lunged at her gracefully, knocking her off her feet and taking the book as she fell. He streaked away from her skill fully, knowing all of these techniques from being a cat.

Her eyes flashed red as she got to her feet, still a bit sore from her fight earlier and a little surprised about his growl. She glared at him, stalking up behind him and kicking his legs in, making him fall. "Nobody does that to me. You got that?" she snapped, her fangs dangerously close to extending. To her, this wasn't about the book anymore. She knew most of the material in there anyway. No, this was more than that. How dare he just do that? Was he looking for a fight?

He stood up, and ran at her, pinning her easily against a wall. "How dare you think you're better than anyone," he growled, baring his teeth and hissing now. If he had a tail, it would surely be swishing.

Her eyes widened in both shock and a little bit of fear. She didn't expect this, and wasn't sure why she hadn't seen what he was coming. Her eyes narrowed, though. She didn't want to appear weak. Still, it was hard keeping her voice steady. Really, she didn't feel like fighting right now. "Let me go," she demanded.

Athena walked into the library. Library's kind of scared her. They were so quiet and creepy. Every time she reached for a book she would pull it out fast thinking some creepy hand would grab hers if she didn't take the book fast enough.

She wandered past two people towards a little table. She wanted to do some studying. She needed to work on her spells. She pulled her spell book she brought from home out of her Gucci purse and started to study her brains out, disregarding the arguing that the other people were doing.

Destiny glides through the door smelling the strong stench of sin in the room. Rage...anger...hate...fear...it was all coming from this very room. She walks through seeing the girl at the desk and the sinners over by the wall. Destiny walks over to them and taps the guy on the shoulder, "Excuse me. Is there a problem?"

He growled, turning around to face her. "Yes, there very well might be. But not anymore, it's all be resolved," he said as he snatched the book again and stalked off, legs looking particularly long and back looking muscular. He was tensed and almost ready to pounce on anything trying to get at him from the back.

"Issues." Athena said aloud then kept on reading.

Jess frowned and crossed her arms, cursing him under her breath before looking for a different book, silently fuming.

Athena got bored from reading 'bout spells. She got up and walked over to the shelf where the one girl was at. "What's his problem?" She asked as she nodded towards him.

Jess reached for a book, pulling it off the shelf. "He wanted a book I found first," she mumbled.

"Well, boys will be boys." She said, she grabbed a book then went back to her table.

Destiny follows him and taps him on the shoulder again. "By all rights, I believe you are wrong. The problem is not solved. You are both still full of hate. I believe there is a way you can both share the book." She smiles at him. Her light blonde hair bounces around her in soft curls and in some lights looks like a fiery red.

Jess turned around when she heard Destiny say this. Uh oh. She should've left the problem alone, he'd probably get angrier and hate her more than he obviously already did.

Destiny continues before he says a word, "I can copy and manifest another one just like it. I just need to touch and hold the book. It will only take a moment and this way you can keep your copy since the other will be library property." She smiles boldly. Her silvereyes glimmer in the chandler lights.

Athena looked up from her reading. She heard something about manifesting another book. Is she going to be using magic. She thought to her self then shifted her position so she could watch and read at the same time.

(Lol. Yay! Hi Hanna! I have to wait for Rin to post. Hopefully she will soon.)

Destiny feels a presence watching her. The eyes of that person bores into her back. She wonders if the person who is watching her is Lucif. She really does not want to talk to him right now and deal with her interlinked destiny to him. Maybe her Father was wrong. Maybe she could change her fate and inevitably change destiny. But she couldn't change her heart. She turns her left shoulder and half turns to see the person half watching her. It isn't Lucif. It's a girl reading a witchcraft book probably a witch. A species her father doesn't approve of. She said a quick prayer for the girl and for her Father's grace to be given to her before giving the girl a charming smile that could win over the devil's son.

Athena wasn't really focused on anything at the moment. She was completely zoned out. I miss Jacob. She thought sadly. Jacob had been her long time boyfriend. They dated for three years. Then her personality changed, she started flirting with other men in front of him, she started doing inappropriate things, she cheated on him. She was surprised when he didn't yell at her. He just said that he still loved her a lot and he was hurts by all her wrong doings, and that they should break up. He also said that if she went back to the sweet caring girl she use to be he would be waiting for her.

Athena was brought back to realty, she realized one of the girls was smiling at her. She smiled back, slightly waved then went back to her reading.

Destiny could feel the waves of sin off of the girl who waved back at her abit distractedly. There was jealousy.....hurt....betrayal.....evy.....a mix of emotions and sin. She felt compassion for the girl and vowed to try to help her as soon as she was done with Bennett. This girl needed her and she was going to be her companion. Her first friend here at the Academy.

Athena sat quietly reading her book, when her watch started to ring. Her watch is like a video chat type of thing, she wanted to stay in contact with everyone. She flipped it open. It was her brother, Markus . "Hi Mark, one sec," She said then got up from her seat and walked over to where no one could hear her. "Sorry, had to find some place quiet, so what's the deal?" She asked quietly making sure no one heard her.

Destiny felt her Father give her a connection to that saddened girl. She could feel the conversation instead of hearing it. This way she will stay aware of any developments in the girl's life. Not stalkerish but divine intervention.

Athena sensed something. It didn't seem right. "Markus we need to talk later, it feels like someones listening in." She said then flipped her watch shut, grabbed a book and walked back to her table trying to look like she hadn't just answered her watch for a video call.

Destiny shuffles her feet around and argues with her Father in her head. She comes to the conclusion that being Almighty is so overrated.

He snapped around, obviously not in the mood. "I don't want the book anymore!" He growled, slapping a book on the table. He gave her a strange look, not so angry just curious before stalking off. He sat in another section of the library away from them, calming himself down.

Jess sighed. She didn't particularly care anymore, she was just tired, which made her more irritated. Sighing, she grabbed a different book and sat in silence.

"Dramatic." Athena sighed.

Destiny's eyes water a little from the violence Bennett showed. She trailed her finger over the book next to her on the table with a trembling sigh. She gently lifts the book from the table and carries it over to the shelf it came from. She places it into its place and in a few seconds its twin sits in her hand. Destiny wipes away the wetness from her eyes and straightens up her shoulders and spine and headed for Bennett's table. She gently places the book tenderly in front of him. "If you change your mind." Her silvereyes shimmer with brimmed emotion but she backed away from him slowly not wanting his anger upon her and slowly made her way across the library's stone tiles.

He looked up, face now a complete mask of calm. "Are you alright?" he called softly, somewhat concerned. She seemed sincere.

Destiny slowly moves her head to look over her shoulder forcing a smile that a liar could see for miles was insincere. She continued on brushing her hand across the many books knowing his concern is fool hearted with no real feeling behind itnjust a way to unburden onesself into believing that they actually had concern for another. She pauses over a title about angels and manifested its copy in her hand.

Jess pretended to be busy reading, when really she was only thinking.
