message 5: by Karina (new)

Karina Xdyj wrote: "I'd like to try. How would it work?"

You find a buddy to read a book with you. Whatever book you wish to read. You guys read the same book at the same pace and get to discuss it with each other or just comment on certain things. You guys can start your own thread and not worry about spoilers.
Scott and I did this with The Host by Stephanie Meyer.

Yup! Karina said it perfectly! Just message someone in the group or make a thread and ask if anyone wants to read a certain book!

Dina Heikal (dhekal) | 442 comments that's a great idea, I'd like to have a reading buddy, so who is starting what and when?
maybe we should organize the process, like display some books and whoever wishes to read them can be reading buddies...it's like a group within the group.

message 21: by Karina (last edited Jul 17, 2012 02:33PM) (new)

Karina I think it will work better if we display the books we would like to read and if anyone else is interested as well then the two(or however many people) of you can decide on when to start and how much you'll read at a time or whatever.

Dina Heikal (dhekal) | 442 comments reckless is a fantasy novel, it's very good i only read a few chapters of it, you know the novels about other worlds, this one has a world you can enter from a mirror and it has a lot of fairytale references ... and no i haven't

message 30: by kayla (new)

kayla (kaylacaylen) Okay thanks :D what book are y'all reading?

Kayla wrote: "Okay thanks :D what book are y'all reading?"

We are discussing it right now.

Sounds interesting! I think perks might be a good choice becuase there's the movie coming out and there just so different reviews of it where ppl either are obsessed with it or hate it

message 32: by kayla (new)

kayla (kaylacaylen) I've been wanting to read The perks of being a wallflower but i just checked what Reckless is about and it looks interesting.

message 33: by Dina (new)

Dina Heikal (dhekal) | 442 comments It sounds interesting. But I'm not really a big fan of drama or anything that can happen in the real world...I always read fantasy or horror or sci-fi, because it's also the genres I write about.

message 34: by Jay (new)

Have anyone of you read the Vampire Academy series & Bloodlines series by Richelle Mead...If yes so, do watch this video I made about the cast according to my opinion.

Patrick (patrick_castro) It was really good! I liked Eve! The romance was hilarious! :)

message 48: by [deleted user] (new)

I've read all the ones you all have listed. Hereafter was awesome! I listened to the audiobook and I loved the narrator so I want to listen to Arise as well, but I haven't got my hands on a copy yet. Eve was really good too. I'm reading the sequel, Once, right now.
