What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

This is a book about a boy named Sandy whose parents go into a mysterious coma and he is left to be taken care of by the butler guy. There's a mental asylum down the street full of interesting people that they eventually get to know. A nurse is sent to take care of his parents that (I think) he ends up falling in love with. There are two relatives of the family constantly trying to poison them or harm them to get their money or house (or something). Please help!
