The Goodreads Dark and Fantastic Readers Group discussion

Since The Hunger Games was mentioned I wanted to throw out there The Maze Runner series. This series is somewhat along similar lines to The Hunger Games, but I felt it was much better overall. I can't tell too much without giving it away, but it is well worth the read. I rated the series a 5, 4, and 5, which is pretty high for a series in my eyes. I have reviews posted on my blog if you are interested, but I suggest you just read the books. Even my son loved them. The much anticipated prequel to this series is due out later this year.
