((eh, why not now, I can duplicate ;)
Besides, don't know when Elena will return anyway...))
Kyra brought George to the garage, certain that what she had gotten would make her daughter smile.
"Okay, eyes closed," Kyra said placing her hand over George's eyes.
"Mum, seriously, what are you doing?"
"You'll see..."
George resisted the urge to say, no, she actually could see, and waited to fund out.
"Tada!" Kyra grinned at her daughter, whisking her hand away so as she could see the old, rundown car that was before them. All the paint was gone, rust coming over some places, everything about it screaming dodgy; all in all, it looked more like a scrapheap no hope that should be crushed there and then rather than a great gift.
George stood there for a moment, surveying the vehicle in front of her. "Mum," her face broke out into a grin, "that's brilliant!!"

George turned back to Kyra. "So, erm, what's with the attire?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Oh, I customised some of Lucain's clothes," she shrugged.
"So what? You're dating my father-in-law now?" George said irritably. "Do you have any idea of how... Wrong that is?"
"That's not my problem, and I'm not seeking permission from my daughter," Kyra replied huffily.
"But if this goes further, my husband could end up being my step-brother!" George exclaimed. "And what if, what if you and Lucain had a kid?! I don't even want to think about that actually!"
"The only reason you're even here, Georgianna-"
"Don't call me that!"
"Is because of a fling I had after me and Lucain split," Kyra stated. "You were an accident. The only reason I had you was because I had to run at the time; I couldn't have an abortion. If things had been different before you wouldn't even be here, so I am not having you ruin things for me now!"
George felt like she'd been punched in the stomach and kicked in the head, everything seemed strange, distant. "You only ever wanted Garrett," she said evenly, nodding slightly, acting as though she were fine. "And now you give me this to bribe me into staying out of your life," she gestured to the car. "Well keep it, because I don't want you in mine," she spat and then vanished before anything else could be said.
Kyra turned to leave, thinking how it was true that she had only wanted Garrett, even if it was just because at the time she thought that having him would make her seem more grown-up when she had just turned sixteen. How rather than tell her parents that she was pregnant from a fling with an older student - the whispered promises and sweet words that meant nothing after that night when he returned to ignoring her just like the rest of those in her year - and ran away, skipping school and never looking back at what she had left.
Kyra thought bitterly about how at the hospital where she'd had Garrett they had taken him from her not even a full hour after she had given birth to him. How the staff had told her that it was for her own good and in the interest of the child. That she was too young to be able to look after him. With no home or means of income, barely being able to care for herself, how was she supposed to raise a son. But when Kyra tried to stop them, they simply knocked her out with a strong dose of pain killers, leaving her unconscious long enough so that when she woke, Garrett could be miles away in any direction.
How when she was finally free to leave, Kyra had searched for him, found that some family had adopted him. She watched and waited from afar, unable to meet him, only catching glimpses of him through a window. Then a year later, on Garrett's first birthday, she left a skateboard and letter on the doorstep, clearly marking them as being for Garrett and hoping they hadn't changed the name she had given her son. They hadn't.
After that, Kyra left. Leaving her son and his adoptive family in piece, she hoped that the skateboard's message was clear enough: Please come and find me.
She knew that she would have to wait until he was older before that could happen, and so she tried to find ways to pass the time, and eventually found Lucain. Now about eighteen, she let herself fall in love with him, give herself to him, try to use him to fill the abysses that resided within her, and though he helped seal the one in her chest, the one in her womb never went away. The place where she had been able to protect her son, care for him, love him, the place where she had been able to have him before they took him away from her. Kyra had never told Lucain of Garrett, and now she wondered if he was still oblivious to his existance.
But time went by, and again things changed. Though she continued to love Lucain, they went seperate ways, leaving Kyra more broken than before, the whole in her chest returning and widening. When at last she found that she could go no further, Kyra figured that if she could simply find a man rich enough and make him love her, then she could merely act her way through life. Things didn't go as she planned. After pretending to love a few rich men and playing mistress to another, she met a near drunk man in a pub and let him buy her a few drinks. With the pair of them intoxicated, he brought her back to his flat.
By the morning Kyra had left, her hangover making her grumpy along with her partially absantee memory, she got herself into more of a mess by inadvertantly killing a demon. As she began her flight, Kyra didn't realise that she was pregnant for the second time before it was too late to find a way of having better prospects for her unborn child.
Kyra sighed, thinking how she had in fact lied to George. She had not wanted to have an abortion, but neither had she wanted to lose her newborn child so soon after having it again at a hospital, but before she could think of what really could be better for it and come to a decision, the window in which to have an abortion closed.
Whilst fleeing through a forest, Kyra had gone into labour. But this time she was ready, was going to work by her own choice. With the skateboard already bought, and the letter written, only had to add a name to the paper after her child was born. Smiling as she held onto her daughter, she shrugged carefully out of her coat and wrapped the baby in it, taking care to stay ready and composed as she spoke softly. Kyra remembered the words and murmured them to herself again now. "I hope my giving you up willingly will lead to better prospects for you. I promise I'll find you, if you don't find me first. Have a good life, my darling. I will always love you, Georgianna," she had said, lightly kissing her head, "always."
With that, Kyra had left Georgianna to be found, leading the persuing demons away from her birthing site and let herself be captured by them, trusting that in doing so, her daughter would be safe from them.
Surfacing from her memories, Kyra checked the time and decided to go early to meet Lucain.
George turned back to Kyra. "So, erm, what's with the attire?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

((yeah, George's half-brother, Jonah walked in on them dancing and George had to explain everything to him. trust me, you've met him, i just haven't rped him in a while...))
Alec was in the garage, hidden under his elder brother's car (save his feet) as he used his time waiting to fix it. He hadn't planned to be waiting, as such, but he found himself doing so nonetheless, and figured that if he occupied himself with something the time would go by quicker, and having checked his bikes just a few days ago, he had choosen to work on the car instead.
Capree had run all the way from the residence she has been staying at to the garage. She felt sweaty and gross, making it a casual walk when she actually went into the garage. To say she was excited had been an understatement to everything. She tried to pull her way to tight jeans from her thighs but it seemed to stick. Her hair was in waves of inky mess. She felt like she looked hideous. And there was that feeling that she was going to make a fool of herself.
Alec heard someone's approaching footsteps and rolled the board he was lying on out from under the car, hoping it was Capree. But then not wanting to look far too eager at meeting her again (if it was her), or a fool if it wasn't, and also for the fact that he'd gotten a bit oily under the car, he changed direction to go instead to the bucket of water at the back of the garage where he began to try and scrub the oil off his hands before drying them on an old rag of shammy leather, which he then slung over his shoulder. Walking around the car to return to the board the long way, solely so as he could try and see outside whether it was her or not, he found his face breaking into a grin as he saw that it was indeed Capree.
Capree was so busy trying to fix her looks, she didnt look for him. She used her semi-baggy shirt to fan herself. She hoped that she wasn't sweating to badly. Or was she sweating at all? She finally gave up in looking spiffy and looked up only to find Alec. Her face was so red as it was, seeing him made her face change a few more shades of color. "Hey." she said, sounding super breathless.
"How are you?" Alec asked as he went over to her. "Not scared about the bikes, I hope, because I swear I won't let anything happen to you," he winked, laughter in his voice but the truth in his words was unmissable.
Capree held her breath and nodded. "Not scared. Really excited." she pushed the words out and gave him her smile. She clasped her hands together behind her back, and shifted weight on her feet. "It's good to see you again."
"And you," Alec smiled crookedly at her, though the other corner of his mouth ended up twitching up as well after a few seconds. "I'd hug you, but, er..." He held his hands out and looked down at himself. "I'm a bit oily at the moment, and I wouldn't want to make you dirty."
Capree scanned him over and nodded. "Yes, I can see. I still wouldn't mind though." she said with a hint of honestly, but the rest was tease. He looked just as good as she remembered maybe even better and she folded her arms across her chest.
"If you're sure..." Alec laughed and made to look as though he was about to hug her, but not wanting to make her dirty changed to simply take her hand and kiss it. "No, I don't want to get oil on you, you're too beautiful, even though your beauty would shine through," he said simply, giving his honest opinion as he looked at her softly. "So, ready to learn how to ride a motorbike?" He asked after a moment.
Capree blushed just when she thought she was over it. "Of course. Always ready to learn knew things." she said with a soft smile. She tried not to stare at him to much, afraid she would make him uncomfortable.
"Then first let's get you to the bike," Alec smiled, turning to lead her into the garage.
((Hey, I replied to Brae. But it was lost in rps.))
Capree followed, looking around with eager eyes. "This place is way cool. Do you work on everything?" she asked, curiously.

((found it!!))
"Mainly my bikes and Josh's car," Alec answered. "My mum works on her car and her dad's, but she likes adapting her skateboards and that. We work together as well, but that's in the future. On the whole we basically make up the family MOT services," he laughed.

Capree smiled. "Thats cool. What's your mom's name?" she asked, trying to fix her hair. She felt a bit out of place.
"George," Alec smiled slightly as he noticed her fixing her hair and thinking how, though it looked good, she didn't need to, she already looked wonderful. "Short for Georgianna as she doesn't like that, unless it's from my dad."
((awe! I always liked George.))
Capree caught him looking at blushed. "Oh, well that's cute. My mom has always been Rocky, even though people think her name is Rocquel." she blurted. She was failing at trying not to make this trip just about her.

((she's one of my favourites to rp, but I need Elena back to do so :s
Damn cliff hangers -_- ))
"And your father?" Alec asked, genuinely wanting to know more about her, and therefore her family.

((oh I know. I need Elena too. But I went and let Rocky see her best mate so rocky and Luke are on pause.))
Capree smiled a little. "His name is Lucien, but he goes by Luke."
Capree smiled a little. "His name is Lucien, but he goes by Luke."
((she took Jonah and Amele to hell and now Amele wants to bring Kole back. I'm glad he'll be back, but at the same time I want my husband back, the last time I had him with no problems was about March.))
"And what are they like, your parents?" Alec asked he rolled one of his bikes over for her to try.
"And what are they like, your parents?" Alec asked he rolled one of his bikes over for her to try.
((awe, it seems like there is always drama going on. Bu it's what makes this fun, ya know?))
Capree looked at the bike for the longest time. "Well, not yOur average parents. I guess you could say that I just really met them a while ago. My mom is a depressed alcoholic and my dad is the clueless idiot. At the moment, but I know things will change. I know they are in the mists of getting better."

((yes, that's true. But I kinda need them to have their son, y'know??))
"Things getting better is always good," Alec nodded, looking at her. "My mum feels my dad helped her get better, but I think she helped him more as he used to be psychopath..."

((haha yes indeed. Because I like their son… though that's not the only reason.))
Capree's gaze snapped towards him. "Pchychopath?" she sounded way more amused then she wanted too. Plus her neck hurt from whiplash.

"Yeah, it's how they met," Alec told her. "He was killing people in the forest and she was walking past and got caught up in it. How did your parents meet?"
"It wasn't as exciting as that. My mom wandered out of the dream world and ran into my father… in the forest. She took him back and got to know him just a little. But my mom knew him from another woman's dream… I dont know. With my mom she had like two guys who liked her. And my dad was jealous and I am telling you their life story." Capree folding her arms across her chest.
"But their story leads to your story," Alec smiled at her. "And your story seems like one I want to know uneditted."
Capree saw his smile and about had a heart attack. "Well… so I was born to them. I guess I was conceived the first and only time they ever had sex. Which is something a child never wants to witness but Trace thought and I quote 'it would be funny'. So… I grow up. But I really don't want to talk about I right now. Though I promise I will tell you."
Alec laughed, understanding what she meant, and glad that she would tell him. "So what do you want to talk about right now, princess?"
Capree bit her lip as if it would help her summon something to talk about. "I have no clue… really." she answered.
"Then would you like to learn how a bike works?" Alec suggested, knowing that, though it may not be truly riveting conversation, at least it meant that their would be speech as he really enjoyed listening to her and thought she had a lovely voice.
Capree nodded, her eyes gazing over at the bike. "Yes of course. Teach me." she made a hand gesture towards it. She felt like she was having awkward muscle spasms in her arms from the way it looked.
"Okay, the right handle is the throttle, and to change the gear you need to use your left foot," Alec told her. "If you sit on the bike it'll be easier to explain."
Capree got on the bike. "Will you get on too?" she asked, trying to hide all fear in her face and eyes.
"First I want you to know where everything is when you're on the bike, then it's up to you what you want to do afterwards," Alec said reassuringly. "We can either leave it and do something else, I can take you out on the bike so as you know what it's like to ride one, even if it is as a passenger, or you can ride the bike with me telling you what to do. Don't worry," he smiled softly at her, putting his hand on her shoulder. "I'll keep you safe, I promise."
"Okay…" Capree took a deep breath and felt instant relief. She sighed and then smiled. "Alright, you can show me everything and then you're going to take me out."
"Right, to change up a gear you need to press down on this lever with your toe, while holding down the clutch with your right hand," Alec explained, showing her which levers.
Capree nodded with understanding. "and?" she asked, hoping he'd be more elaborate. She sucked in a breath and held itZ
"To shoft down a gear pull the same lever up with your toe. You'll get the hang of it. So," he put his hand over hers and squeezed the clutch down, "And while you hold it down like this, press the lever down to go into first gear," Alec instructed.
Capree gathered the information and she nodded. "Alright, what else?" she asked.
"Indicators," Alec tapped the left handle. "Along with lights and the horn. The dials show speed, revs, and total distance travelled, like a car," he pointed to the small dash under the windbreak.
Capree looked over at his face. He really liked this stuff, and she could tell that much. She quickly looked back to where he was showing her before he noticed her staring.
Alec smiled at her, his eyes warm and inviting, trustworthy. "Think you can handle it if you try first gear?"
