The White Darkness by Geraldine McCaughrean. I LOVE that one.

You probably haven't. It's not one of the better known novels out there.

Gone With the Wind

I have two:

Sanctuary by William Faulkner
and
Tom Jones by Henry Fielding.

They're pretty different but I love them.

I haven't read any of the others mentioned.

Tom Jones is really long. It took me forever because it's a century or two old, I think, and the words are somewhat archaic. The writing is beautiful though.

Sanctuary isn't very long and it's the darkest, most enthralling book I've ever read.

The Witching Hour by Anne Rice and The Brontë Collection.

I dont know I have a few of them

I really liked The Witching Hour, too.

Yeah, I've read it numerous times since it's publication. It's a great book.

Sounds interesting. I'll have to get around to reading it sometime...

My favorites are Jane Eyre and A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. But I agree with Lacey. Whenever I think of Charlotte's Web I want to cry.

IKR! I was so into that book. I need to pick up The Book Thief.

I find it so hard to pick just one! Or a few! I love so many! Some of my top books though include:

A Song Of Ice And Fire series
The Dark Tower series
Harry Potter series
The Constant Princess
Angels and Demons

I think a lot of my favourite books are series books rather than stand-alones...

I think I'm a series junkie 2. I love to stick with characters for that long, you feel like you've lived their life. I particularly feel that way about game of thrones. I keep reading those if there were like 20.

Same. I love seeing the characters develop and go through all those different experiences and to see what happens to them. Love the ASOIAF books, they're great. I'll keep reading them until they stop being written.

I'm kinda worried he won't finish them, though. People who write such good books should get to live a couple hundred years :)

hard to pick a fav book but here goes: Ronia the Robber's Daughter by Astrid Lindgren. i also love love all Jane Austin books and of course the harry potter series :)

Million Dollar Agent: Brokering the Dream is my favorite book ever, its a great read by bravos hit tv series million dollar listing's josh flagg. i just finished it and i already want to read it again.

It's such a good one, too! I think my favorite is The Immortals one with Daine. It's the first one I read, so I'm partial to it. :3 How did you get introduced to the series? A neighbor of mine gave me her entire Tortall collection (Alanna and Daine, at the time), and I put off reading it for so long. lol

But if you want one book I could read over and over (which isn't common for me)? That would be Dangerous Tides by Christine Feehan, dunno why I like it so much but I do :)
