Her parents? Dead. Her future? Unknown, unspoken. Desteria is not to say a word, for she knows nothing of her sister’s enchantment save its danger.

With Lucy’s locket now missing, her dreams are becoming out of control. A past mistake has led to an unsightly present. Desteria must now risk the fate of the world in order to protect her sister. But past secrets may prevent her from doing just that.

The threads of her past are becoming unraveled, but still so much is to be revealed to Desteria. Lucy’s light is fading fast and Desteria must find the locket before all is lost.

Under all the commotion caused by Lucy's phenomenon, there is one underlying knowledge Desteria is refusing to accept. Responsibility is being weighed on her shoulders. Will she finally come to her senses? Will she be willing to step up to the plate?
