What are your favorite PNR series? Why?

Oh so many good ones to chose from. Do I really have to pick one?....Well...I guess if I have no choice I will go with...

Kresley Cole. Her Imortals after Dark series was an awesome read and some of my favorite PRN characters came out of it. I read all the books that are out in the series in a month and a half. And that is pretty quick for me.

I love all those authors too! Lately I have been sucked into the Gena Showalter's Lords of the Underworld series. I really enjoyed those.

My sister-in-law recommended Felicity Heaton and her angel series. I read the first one and it was pretty good. It was more of a novelette through and more a long the lines of erotica. Still...the concept was pretty interesting.

I think I am getting sucked into the Sentinels series by Shannon K. Butcher.

I'm reading Running Scared, and it's official. This is going on my PNR crack list.

What about Shelley Laurenston?? Her Pride sereis is amazing and hilarious, definitely a favourite and also her Dragon series under G A Aiken is also a winner.

Don't get me wrong I love a good dark pnr but the lighter funnier ones have there place too. Its usually after you have been on a tortured hero readathon and need a breather :)

I've read the first two books of the Pride series. They were pretty good. I prefer the darker stuff, I guess. Haven't tried her Dragon series I will have to give it a look.

Right now I am sucked into Dark Hunter series and the new Gena Showalter book. Really enjoying both.

I have read the first Dragon book by Aiken. It was good.

Laurann Dohner's New Species Series . Heroes are part human, part exotic animal - so Hot!

HI Girls, Having read Gena Showalter's Lord of the Underworld series (which was great)and Lords of Deliverance by Larissa Ione, I am now starting on the Demonica series also by Larissa Ione. I have to ask myself sometimes, who's copying who. Sometimes they are just so much a like. Does any one else feel this way?

Hi Laura. Both series are favorites of mine. I think the PNR series in general tend to have a similar setup. A brotherhood who have some need/flaw/restriction that makes it difficult to lead a 'normal' life or find love.

It's cool when an author can find a way to tweak the formula and make it stand out from the other books.

I think I was being alittle over critical when I wrote that post yesterday. I do like both series and I have read others that I enjoy as well. I think at the moment as I said in another section I've just read too much PNR recently and if I came back at another time I wouldn't be so picky.

By far, my favorite PNR series is the Black Dagger Brotherhood.

I'm not entirely sure if this series falls under PNR but has anyone read the Goddess Series by PC Cast. They were really good books.

I'm in love with IAD by Kresley Cole. Plus Im Fangirl of BDB & Fallen Angels by JR Ward. I'm currently rre-reading the Demonica series and Lords of Deliverance by Larissa Ione. Kristen Painters House of Commare is awesome as well.

I haven't gotten a chance to start the Lords of Deliverance yet, but I loved Demonica.

Ok girls, I haven't read any kresley cole. Can someone give me a hint where to start? I loved barons, bones all the usual suspects, but I'm seeing things here I've not touched yet and " am desperately seeking new superhero", lol. Would love some suggestions, especially in a series. I have been on/off trolling through goodreads for a while now and I think I have finally found my group, yay. Love it.

Best to start with The Warlord Wants Forever, since it's the first book in the Immortals After Dark series, her flagship series.
