I loved doing Dark Shadows and I'm blessed that it was my first acting job . . . . I learned such a lot working with so many seasoned actors in such a safe and nurturing atmosphere. I never really thought about all the viewers watching at home and that gave me a sense of freedom to just explore and do the work, not perform. The series opened no doors for me as an actress once I left the show, other than the opportunity to do my first motion picture, because I left the series to work in France and England where no one knew about Dark Shadows. But the show was the catalyst for me to begin my writing career, and for that I am very grateful.

But Kathryn, after that "baptism of fire" on DS, don't you think that made you even more comfortable doing plays?? I mean, working with Jimmy Stewart in Harvey in the West End!!! WOW!!! And doesn't David Selby do alot of plays?? It seems that all of you are so talented!!! When do we get to see you in something new??? Anything you are interested in?? You have a huge fan base here and we would gladly campaign for you!! lol....Anne

I'm working on an independent movie this summer. When that's ready to be seen, I'll post something. Other than that, it's books, books, books.
