message 14: by Kara (new)

mussolet (sovotchka) | 615 comments Kara wrote: "I think this is my favorite of all the challenges. :)"

It's my second favourite after the Listopia one, but I need to spy on your list to find some more books to read for this :).

message 16: by Lilac (new)

Lilac (lilac_wales) | 910 comments I think this is my favourite challenge too. It can be harder than the others but also more fun with searching :)

message 17: by Lilac (last edited Jun 18, 2012 12:56PM) (new)

Lilac (lilac_wales) | 910 comments I read Northern Lights (His Dark Materials, #1) by Philip Pullman a couple of days ago but not sure whether it fits into the metal category or not. Technically this edition is called Northern Lights but it also says The Golden Compass in big writing on the cover and it's most commonly know as the Golden Compass. Oh well, if it doesn't work at least it still has Light in it :D

message 18: by Kara (new)

Kara (karaayako) | 3984 comments I think that should count. It's a different edition of a book called The Golden Compass.

message 19: by Lilac (new)

Lilac (lilac_wales) | 910 comments Yay, that makes it easier :) Thanks

message 20: by mussolet (new)

mussolet (sovotchka) | 615 comments Would The Watchtower count for a sense? Because watching/seeing is one. If yes, then I will re-read it I think.

message 21: by Kara (new)

Kara (karaayako) | 3984 comments I used The Sheep Look Up, so I think it's perfectly reasonable for you to use "watch." :)

message 22: by mussolet (new)

mussolet (sovotchka) | 615 comments :) Thanks Kara :).

message 23: by Danielle (new)

Danielle (dmansell) I've got two more down

message 24: by Mina (new)

Mina quick question, what if one of my book fits into two categories?

example Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins could be in any of the following category:
11. Product of Fire: heat, smoke, fire, burn, flames, light, ash, blaze
17. 4 Elements: fire, earth, air/wind, water

message 25: by Mina (new)

Mina 8. Weapon: knife, sword, arrow, dart, poison, blade, razor
Made to Stick: Why Some Ideas Survive and Others Die by Chip and Dan Heath (4 out of 5)

that makes my running total to 6 out of 25 :-)

Kelsi (essentiallybooked) | 751 comments I'm now up to 6 of 25.

I read The Lightning Thief and am wondering what category it would fall under. Is lightning considered a heavenly body, product of fire and/or an element (air/fire?).

You could always put it under occupation for "Thief"

I think I used it as product of fire because the word "light" was in there, but yeah, you can definitely use it as occupation too. :)

message 50: by Natalia (new)

Natalia | 74 comments I am currently reading Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. Do you think I could use it for the category 5 Senses? I mean, can the word LOUD in the title fall under HEARING?
