I just realized when I typed in the question it was suppose to be Thomas McNeil not Skinner. Anyway do you remember when Comander Skinner offered Eve the captains bars if she worked with him to take Roarke down (like that would have happened)?

The reason he wanted to prosecute Roarke was something that had happened when Roarke was about 12 (23 years ago). Illegal arms dealers set up a base in Atlanta and Skinner headed up the special unit to take them down. Supposedly, they had a weasel on the inside. When they moved in it was a trap, 13 cops were killed and 6 were wounded. Skinner was still able to break the back of the cartel, and he was able to get all of the leaders with the exception of one. The one he didn't get was Thomas McNeil/Patrick Roarke. This was a few months before Patrick was found with his throat slit in a Dublin alley.

It was the name that threw me. I didn't remember Patrick Roarke having the same name as Skinner.

When I looked at what I wrote I don't know where the B came from but it is A Glory and Rapture
