Sam and I read Curious George Goes to a Chocolate Factory for this challenge. You can never go wrong with chocolate! The story reminded me of the I Love Lucy episode set in a chocolate factory, but I won't spoil your appetite for the story by telling you any more! (24 pages)

Chocolate is my favorite so I read "The Chocolate Sundae Mystery" by Gertrude Chandler Warner. It was 120 pages & I enjoyed it.
Eat the Cookies . . . Buy the Shoes Meyer, Joyce 208 pages
Meyer’s message is that we need to give ourselves permission to lighten up, take a break and indulge now and again – it’s OK to splurge on a desired item, not be perfect, eat a dessert. Balancing your life and giving yourself rewards instead of deprivation helps keep you motivated and not become discouraged
This concept is frequently used in schools with children who have learning disabilities or motivational problems. Why do adults think they’ve outgrown the need for celebrating small successes?
As for me . . . I think I’ve earned a Blizzard Break!

July is American National Ice Cream month, with the third Sunday of the month being official "Ice Cream Day." Read a book with a flavor of ice cream listed in the title. Since I love Baskin-Robbins and they have an eclectic variety of flavors, you are required to use their list when searching for the perfect book. Baskin Robbins Flavors I don't think you'll have any trouble here, although you might get hungry for ice cream!
