This is week 1 for me of my "Couch to 5k" running program. Nice to know that is how you started. Glad to see this group started!

Hello everyone. Im looking forward to hearing about your running and fitness programs. By this time 12 months from now Im hoping to lose 85 lbs. Isn't "hope" a wonderful thing?
Welcome Terry! I like Brian's thread he's started. He's got some big goals but alongside that is Hike hike hike....which is a good message for those of us thatspend too much time with our noses stuck in a book. I'm doing the Couch to 5k
in 9 week podcast (it's free on itunes) and I'm just at week one but it's a nice easy way to start a running program.
