6)Hard Stop by Chris Knopf = probably good if you have read the prior 3 books leading to this one, but I'm still an Alex Cross fan.
7) Such a Pretty Fat One Narcissist's Quest to Discover if Her Life Makes Her Ass Look Big, or Why Pie is Not the Answer by Jen LancasterSorry, not a fan. LIked the first one, but didn't like this one.
11) Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya SisterhoodRebecca WellsGreat book! Saw the movie first, but thoroughly enjoyed the book just as much, if not more!
13) The Tattooed Girl by Joyce Carol OatesThis is the second Joyce Carol Oates book I've ever read and I LOVED it! I kept wanting to know what would happen to Siegl, Alma (the tattooed girl), Dmitri, Jet... amazing ending, but I may have missed what happened to one of the characters after his return.
15) Handle with Care by Jodi PicoultWould you sue your best friend for malpractice and compromise everything? even for the benefit of your child?
18) I Am No One You Know Stories by Joyce Carol OatesI really like how Ms. Oates gets into the characters!
19) Sharp Objects A Novel by Gillian FlynnEXCELLENT mystery/thriller filled with powerful emotions on all fronts.
20)Time of My Life A Novel by Allison Winn ScotchEXCELLENT novel about a suburban mom/wife who wondered what-if she chose a different life with the ex? Jillian got to go back 7 years into her past to remake major decisions. The result? A must-read to find out =) A really fun one!
21) The Beach House by Jane GreenDelightful with multiple likable characters whose stories are interwoven. Great summer read.
22) Love Stories in This Town by Amanda Eyre Wardok; liked a few, but favorite was the first one: "Should I be Scared?"
24) Geek Love A Novel by Katherine DunnExcellent! Read my comments on http://bubblesncups.wordpress.com/200...
26) The Ten-Year Nap by Meg WolitzerWould not recommend it for pleasure, but it was a great book for book group. Can talk about feminism, motherhood, loyalty, friendship...
27) Just In Case by Meg RosoffEnjoyed reading about how a 15 yo boy tried to hide from Fate by changing his name and appearance.
