In English class, I have to do an assighnment about this book. I have to find out what the theme is for it. I think it might be self-esteem or coming of age, but I'm not sure. Any ideas?

well the book is very inspiring and i really think the theme is about a girl finding the true meaning of love through her own perspective and feelings she goes through.
