Member Sagheer in post #8 in the Monthly Book Discussion Selection thread has given me an idea. I propose a poll(s) which includes only books written by group members. But with over 1000 members I'm unable to peruse each profile to see who is a published goodreads author. Please list your own book or fellow members books for inclusion on a monthly poll in the near future on this thread. Surely our online community can give some support to our own!

So, books that have recently come to my attention as written by members:Sagheer's The Reluctant Mullah
Qwantu's One Blood
Roy's Patches Of Grey
I'm sure there are more out there! I think this is a great idea if folks let us know you're out there!
Tayari Jones's Leaving Atlanta or The UntellingCarleen Brice's Children of the Waters: A Novel
Tananarive Due's Joplin's Ghost: A Novel or The Good House
My little book can't stand up against those heavyweights, but I'll mention it anyway.Motherless Child - stories from a life It's available in paperback and ebook.
Hey Sara...no worries...since the more well know authors show up on all the other polls its the hidden gems by members that could use our support I hope to uncover...(Nor am I going to discriminate against the well known...perhaps 2 separate polls?)
Hello, I am a new member, but I'd like to submit my book. It's available in paperback and Kindle edition on Amazon. I'd love to get any feedback on it too! Then Came Love
I would like to recommend:Freeman by Leonard Pitts Jr.
Douglass' Women: A Novel by Jewel Parker Rhodes
Half-Blood Blues - Esi Edugyan

Sorry about that.
Sorry, my books are nonfiction, poetry, and only one fiction published as fiction under pen name (but seeking a new publisher). Good luck all.
I'd like to add MEMOIR OF A TIME YET TO COMEhttp://www.goodreads.com/book/show/15...
I'm a new member of the group, a new self-publisher, and a writer of fiction/fantasy/adventure/spiritual/paranormal with some FLAVA in it...people of color can save the world too - like we've been doing for a long time anyway!
