Sno-Isle Mock Printz discussion

I finished reading this last night and thought it was pretty powerful. I loved the different perspectives, and how over time they came to some understanding, but a more realistic ending than most historical fiction. I think this is a pretty good contender. Thoughts?

Really well written, so I think it's a contender. That being said, the characters were so unlikeable(understandably unlikeable), that I spent the first half of the book wishing that one of them would go ahead and kill the other and be done with it.

Glad to see such great reviews! I haven't gotten to this one yet but I'm excited to have the author at our November Teen Book Brunch.

Extremely well-written and well-researched. I had a similar experience: hated many of the characters (which means they felt real), then got swept away into this dark and troubled period in history. Not a "light" read.

Sat down this afternoon and read over half of the book in one sitting. Very engaging, and yes - some of the characters are unlikeable. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of it in short order.

Now that I've finished, I'd like to see this in our final group.
