We own a 10 year old Chocolate Lab named BamBam. He is the love of our life now that we are empty nesters. He has had a few health problems but is doing well. He had to have tumors removed and his stomach flipped. Was an expensive surgery but he was worth every penny.
I have a 12 year old black lab named Ody! He is such a good dog! A few months ago we thought that we would have to put him down because he had hip problems and couldn't walk and would just whine and cry all day because he was in pain. But we got medicine for him and he is doing really well now! I love him to death and couldn't imagine life without him!
I have 2 black Labs, one who is 10 years old (Tallulah, girl) and one who is 15 weeks old (Laska, boy). Tallulah (we call her Lula) is the sweetest thing ever but she still gets in trouble a lot despite her pretty old age.
Yesterday another dog ran onto our property (we live on a private lake in the woods), and Lula literally sprinted and chased the other dog off the property, into the woods. The other dog jumped in the lake for safety (by this time they were already way across the lake), and Lula jumped in right after him. She swam all the way across the lake to our dock. It was crazy, but it was so much fun to watch!
Laska is surprisingly calm for such a baby puppy, but he has his hyper moments. Yesterday he ran into the woods so we had to shuffle his food around in his bowl so that he'd come back. He sprinted back out of the woods to get his food, and stood up on his hind legs until he fell over!
I love my dogs and would do anything for them.

Hi! We have a 2 1/2 year old yellow nut named Biscuit. He's like our second child for sure. And 90 lbs. of lap dog. ;)

Yes, I absolutely love Labs.
Currently, we have a Black Lab, Desi, who is 5 years old. We got him from a local rescue group when he was 4 months old. He is such a terrific dog and so much fun.
We also have an 11 year old Ridgeback mix named Hunter. We adopted him when he was 2 from our local shelter.
They are great together and bring us lots of joy!
Currently we have a year old yellow lab "Libby"Who will turn 2 on November 23! She is the best dog ever - is there a better way of explaining her?
