"You know, I've never really been here before. I've heard about it, and seen it. But never really walked around in it" said Jasper looking around.
"I haven't either. Although it would be a nice place for studying. Or doing homework. Or-" Josie cut herself off. "Never mind."
Jasper nodded. "No. I agree with you. But I usually get distracted easily. Maybe it would be better for you to study, or do homework, or-"Jasper shrugged.
"You know what I mean."
((I just said that. Is he mocking her? Sorry I just dont want to answer in one way and then you say he didnt mean it that way))"Sorry but, no I dont know what you mean."
(( He's saying it would only be a good studying place for her, and not him. And he's being playful, by the way. Me and my characters like to confuse people. ^-^ ))Jasper shook his head.
"I was just being odd again" he explained.
"I'm usually an odd person if you get to know me."
Jasper returned the smile like he always did."Thank you, it means a lot to me" he said.
He looked around the garden, making sure to see everything.
"Arw you looking for anything in paticular or just looking for the sake of knowing your surroundings?" Josie asked while looking in the direction he seemed to be looking in.
"Oh... well I guess you can say both" Jasper wasn't trying to be so unclear, yet he was doing a great job.
Jasper noticed her expression of confusion. "Sorry, I'm not making sense. I don't think I can really put many of my unusual thoughts to words."
Josie laughed. "Yeah. I guess some of one's most unusual thoughts must be unable to be explained otherwise they would not be classified as the most unusual. If that makes any sense at all."
"It does" said Jasper. He thought for a moment.
"Do you think there has to be music to dance?" he asked her, trying to put one of his thoughts to words.
Jasper nodded."Exactly. You don't need talent to paint a master piece. You don't need to be smart to be a genius. And so, you don't need music to dance either."
Jasper thought for a moment.
"I've got odd theories about how the world works. But I think I just confused myself by trying to explain. Sorry."
"No it makes total sense. Really, I think you can do anything if you try and don' t give up until the outcome is right. That's along the same lines as your theory I guess." Josie replied.
"Well I'm glad I didn't break your brain. I'm an unusual person also" Jasper walked around, not sure if he wanted to stay put, walk or sit somewhere.
"Unusualality ((I don't think that's a real word but I'm going to use it anyways)) is good, though. If everyone was usual, the world would be a boring place." Josie said.
"Nothing is silly if you thought it was important. You wouldn't have thought it otherwise." Josie pressed.
Jasper's eyes narrowed as he thought. "What are you planning on being when we graduate?" he asked Josie.
"Something having to do with education, definalty. I'd like to teach so a proffessor here would be cool. But I would rather have a more authorative position like Head of Magical Education ((I don't know if that actually exists but I think it does)) or Headmaster. That would be a long time from now obviously but those would be my bigget goals." Josie fantasized.
"That sounds good in my point of view" said Jasper thinking of what it might be like to be Headmaster. Jasper reckoned, Hogwarts would be a nightmare if he were Headmaster. Jasper got to easily distracted.
"Well I'd like to become an Auror. But my father is a little over protective, so I'd have to consider other jobs. I'm interested in metal charming and wand making" Jasper smoothed down his dark blue dress robes.
"Wand making would be cool. That takes a ton of practice." Josie said. "Not that practice is bad though."
Jasper bit his lip."I've had a few curious experiments. Not always turning out good" Jasper remembered the accidents he'd caused in his house.
Jasper fingered his wand, which still in his sleeve. "Let's just say, that dogs aren't supposed to go through walls and change colors" he said, embarrassed.
Josie noticed him blushing. "It's fine. I've grown up with two brothers who believe they can make anything do anything. I don't find it weird."
Jasper came back a few minutes later with two butterbeers. "Here you go" he said, handing a glass to Josie with a smile.
