Willow Curtis | 2 comments I added a book to my shelf back in 2009 titled The Wanderings of Wuntvor. I've noticed that it has since changed to The New Israelite or Rabbi Shalom in the Shores of the Black Sea. Many of the reviews and ratings are for the original book, a humorous fantasy omnibus which includes three books by Craig Shaw Gardner (Difficulty with Dwarves, Excess of Enchantments, Disagreement with Death). There is another edition of The Wanderings of Wuntvor listed on goodreads (don't know if that helps). From what I can tell, this looks like a case where an isbn has been reused. Is there any way to separate these two books and their respective ratings?

Amara Tanith (aftanith) Which ISBN is the specific one you're referring to? The default edition of The New Israelite or Rabbi Shalom in the Shores of the Black Sea linked above doesn't have one; the other editions are ISBNs 9781117458588 and 9781120990167. I've done some checking on both 9781117458588 and 9781120990167, and I can't find any records linking them to The Wanderings of Wuntvor.

I checked logs for both ISBNs and unfortunately they only go back as far as the Amazon data situation in January, so I can't tell when and why the change was made.

Edit: Actually, ignore the above. Given your "this looks like a case where an isbn has been reused" statement, I assumed you were talking about one of the editions with an ISBN. Looking at the logs, now I see you actually were talking about the no-ISBN edition. There's no reason for that to have been changed (and I am genuinely confused as to why someone would change it to a completely unrelated book...). I'll revert it.

Further Edit: And it would appear the edition I've just reverted should be merged with the other edition you linked to (the details seems split between the two, making them duplicates of one another); I don't think you or I will be able to do that merge, so I'll drop the link in the "please delete this book" thread so a Super can get it.
