Alexis glared at the dummy in front of her. She pictured it as the kid who had tried to punch her in the sixth grade… before she had wedgied him and hung him on the basketball net. She swung her axe at the dummy’s neck, wiping his head clean off. She went at the arms and legs, then attacked until it fell off it’s stand. She leaned forward, and carved two letters on it’s chest with her hidden boot dagger. A.R.

While Theo was practicing he heard a sound of footsteps. He looked around but no one was there when suddenly he caught the eye of the beautiful Lauren daughter of Zeus looking straight at him.

Alexis sighed. She was bored. She threw her weapon into the ground, and sighed.

Theo started to blush and looked away. He threw his trident staraight through the dummy's heart and walked away as it dissapeared.

Alexis saw the boy with the trident and smiled lightly. She grabbed her axe and sharpened it.

As Theo walked out of the arena all he could remember was Lauren's beautiful face staring at him.

Lauren looked at her shoes. Theo was so amazing. He was talented and cute and clever and funny. She really liked him.

Alexis glanced at the two, and tasted something bitter. They liked each other, obviously. Alexis hated love. It wasn't her forte.

Ok Theo has had it. He waited too long for lauren to like him now's the chance. He walked back into the arena, '' hey Lauren umm, I wanted to ask you if you wanted to umm practice together? '' he asked, his face as red as a ripe tomato.

Lauren looked at him. "Sure!" she said, trying to act casual. It always worked with her. She took out her dagger. "When you're ready!"

''Wow that was fun I never knew you can blow up a dummy with a touch of you're dagger!''

(wait what?)

(they finished practicing, do you really think we would write the whole thing that would be hard!)

((oh and she blew it up, the dummy, with her lightning abilities))

Lauren laughed. "And I didn't know a dummy could be drowned while no one else was touched with water. Guess we both learned something new."

Alexis smiled a bit. Child of Ares or not, they were cute. She shook her head. You’re turning soft, idiot. Cut it out.

She grabbed her axe and whacked at the dummy. Gods, I’m violent. At least it’ll save my life if I get into a battle.

Tyler walked into the sword arena and stopped to watch alexis slash up dummies. She was good

She kicked at the ground. “Bored.” Whack. “Bored.” Slash. “Bored.” Cut.

Tyler walked in on her. "Wow you're good."

Alexis nearly swung at him, but luckily, she missed. She threw her axe into the ground, and it stuck up. “Thanks,” she grinned.

"How did you get that good?" Tyler asked, impressed.

"Sounds good," Lauren smiled and walked to her cabin. ((continued in Zeus cabin))

She shrugged. “Well, for the most part I practice, but because of my parentage, I guess it just comes naturally."

Tyler grinned. "Well I'm not that good." He pulled out his mentoes package and transformed it into a sword. He gripped it and slashed the dummy to bits.

Alexis nodded. “You’re not half-bad.” She pulled her axe from the ground, and continued to whack the dummy. “Just takes some practice, ya know?"

Tyler nodded and leaned on his sword watching her. "Is the axe your only weapon?"

Alexis shook her head, and took off her boot. She shook it, and multiple daggers fell out.

Tyler whistled. "Impressive. Does that ever hurt?"

She rolled her eyes. "Nope. I got hidden pockets."

Tyler nodded. "Okay. That makes much more sense."

"Yup. I'm not that stupid. My dad is, though."

Tyler laughed. "Good for you. Because that would be painful."

''Hey guys whatcha' doin?'' Andrew asked cheerfully. '' Did you guys see Theo and Lauren?''

Alexis smirked. "Yeah. They're useful. Axes - although very powerful - are somewhat limited."

Tyler nodded at Alexis, then glanced at Andrew. "Nope."

Alexis nodded at Theo. "Yeah. They were practicing, I think."

''Word around camp is that Theo and Laureen are...'' Andrew exclaimed. ''Oops sorry have to run there is something really important I have to do!''

Tyler frowned and shrugged at Alexis.

Alexis shrugged, and tossed some knives at the target.

''Hey guys have you seen Lauren? I wanted to ask her something?'' Theo said, catching his breath
