Sue | 38 comments This book was full of action and had a great story line. The title depicts not only Luke who gave up two years of his life to eat, breathe and live like wolves but in the process he gave up a lot more than being part of the human society. He was a Lone Wolf and as a result, so were his two children. The book is full of many conflicts and some are very pertinent on how a child may or may not react to what humanity throws their way. I really enjoyed reading this book.

Right now I'm in the middle of a 7-book series (the Dune books--I love Sci-Fi) but I may read it eventually (I've got a HUGE to-read list). Sounds like a book our book discussion group at the library would like--maybe I'll suggest it for next year.

Dune is considered one of the all-time classics of sci-fi (sort of like the Lord of the Rings of Sci-Fi). You may remember they made a (bad) movie of the first book in the 80's with Sting in it. My description wouldn't probably do it justice but look at the goodreads description! Dune.

Sue | 38 comments I am in the middle of reading The Star Board Sea but
when I am finished, I would like to begin reading Dune
simply because I loved the Lord of the Rings and I am
definitely taking you up on your suggestion, Peter.

Sue | 38 comments Hi Laura, Yes, I finally got my computer fixed! It was nice meeting you last week. I have my book to read for the Book Club for October and once I get through that, I am going to start reading, 11th Hour by James Patterson. Everyone I know who read it, loved it. Did you read it yet? Hope to hear from you soon.
